Great location in Uluwatu! BEAUTIFUL view of the beach from the property. The sun sets on this side of the island which qas AMAZING. Resort pool was our favorite part of the property. What a great vibe to really sulk in Uluwatu. Location is walking distance to a few restaurants, bars, and spas. The property offers taxi service on the spot (however more economical to use Grab). But a really great convenience to have. Great spread for breakfast! Many options. One the BEST in-room showers ever!!! We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa/suite. Great space! My only objection to the room is, it's not as private as I hoped. Other room accommodations could easily see into our in-room pool area... Very helpful staff willing to go above and beyond!

Stunning and beautiful Location, with great room views and great staff service.

The hotel facilities and rooms are tired and very old, they smell like dust and humidity. The less time I spent in our room the more I enjoyed my time at the resort. This resort needs more than a Paint Job, it needs a serious makeover! it's outdated and it's letting its guests and staff down.

We loved everything about Anantara Uluwatu. It was definitely more for honeymooners than family, but we still enjoyed our stay very much! They were very accommodating and ensured our stay was a perfect one. Will go again!!

Outrageously overpriced food and drinks. The worst dinner we had in Uluwatu. Two hours we waited for our food and it arrived cold. The rooms are not well insulated so extremely noisy with any movement above. Being on level 5, under the restaurant on level 6 was shocking. Overall absolutely not worth the price tag. They need to improve all aspects of this hotel.

Stunning location, staff, food and rooms.

The pool suites located on Level 2 have a very unusual outlook, basically the top of the buildings below with fake turf and other odd shade sails etc. It spoiled the view of an otherwise incredible location. If I stay here again I would request a pool suite closer to the outdoor restaurant and pool. These suites appear to look directly over the ocean. Just something to know when booking.

the pool area was very old and dated and needs alot of attention the stairs leading to the beach were very dirty the pool towels were washed but very stained. I also did not enjoy the view from our pool room with all the fake green grass everywhere.

As a solo female traveller I had a pleasant and safe stay in Anantara. The staff were very polite and helpful and my ocean view room was large and comfy. I mainly chose to stay here as they offered a shuttle service to the Uluwatu Temple, where I wanted to see the Kecak dance. My shuttle driver was very polite and friendly and helped me buy the tickets at the temple. Food was good, though more expensive compared to the rest of my stay in Bali. I also did their yoga class run by Ayu and a Balinese dance class by Sara, both of which were amazing. Overall, I had a good time here.

Only complaint I have is with the plumbing. The water sometimes smelled odd and the flush wouldn't work properly.

A LOT of stairs or walking up and down through the resort- older and unfit people would have hard time getting around slippery tiles propetry is a bit old and dated, could use some updating. mini bar fridge barely keeps drinks cold. room service /ice delivery takes awhile (food arrives cold) as resort so large/many stairs to get to your room restaurants serve ok food but unfortunately very over priced compared to going outside the resort

The amenities and staff onboard are truely amazing. We loved the inclusion of photo session with the booking. The food options are good as well.

Beware of monkey that may come to your balcony, but the hotel do keep you informed about the situation.

Ridiculously overpriced! Stayed 4nights at the end of our trip we were so disappointed after all the other amazing places that we stayed for a lot lot less! I was ready to leave after one night here, have stayed in hundreds of resorts all over world and this was one of the worst. As soon as you walk up the front stairs you can see this hotel needs some serious TLC. Broken tiles steps and rotting/rusting exterior. We were on our Babymoon so thought this could be a nice relaxing way to finish our trip but was not, this is an overpriced 3 star hotel at best and we payed double what we paid for a stunning Villa in Canguu. Hotel Restaurants all closed for renovations except pool side restaurant, where the food was over priced more expensive than Australia with very average food. Really nice restaurants at main road for fraction of cost but getting to main road not easy and not safe at night as pitch black and uphill. Over looking beach but No longer have beach access from Hotel, we were hoping for morning beach walks. Room was a good size but very run down and old, bed was old, uncomfortable and soft. Pool over looked a roof, so not a nice view like main pools. Only one day bed which was annoying as two of us. Did not use jacuzzi. Toilet was leaking water at base and sink and toilet both blocked with water a few times. TV old not a smart TV terrible sound. Mini bar fridge stunk like mould. Spa was so expensive so did not use, really nice spas at main road for 10% of price. Do not stay here if you have any mobility issues or kids, a lot of stairs and not easy getting around. Would definitely not recommend and will not stay here again.

Honestly, I loved everything about this place. The staff, food, facilities, our room, activities and location. Everything was above and beyond expectations and by far the best place I have ever stayed at. Would 100% come back here in a heartbeat.
