this is an exceptionally attractive place to stay for work or vacation. The scenic landscape and the greenery is calming and healing.

The rooms could benefit from a change of mattresses. I wasn’t able to sleep as well as I would have liked and I heard the same from two other colleagues who was there for the same program.

we stayed for 2 nights in August (rather cold weather) and we had coöd water only in the bathroöms for both nights at check out, management was not able to take a decision tonoffer a suitable compensation without the approval of the GM

We love coming to this hotel. It is quiet and the golf course is green and calm.

Unfortunately, it is looking a bit tired and needs a revamp.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights December 2021. A beautifully appointed and designed hotel. Room beautifully furnished and spotless, thank you Jane, (housekeeping)! Stupendous first floor view over lakes and indigenous forest. Swimming Pool is lovely and heated sustainably (solar water heaters).

Avoid the restaurant which has no food or wine menu, poor lighting,(few bulbs in the beautiful chandeliers) thus leaving you at the mercy of the cook. Snack menu and superior service is available in the Members bar below. Health and Safety Issues: 1. A functional hairdryer wired directly to the mains with no ‘off’ switch and a lengthy flex, is situated directly above the bath. Great danger of unwary guests being electrocuted! 2. It is possible for small children to be locked between adjoining room doors’ space, as handles only function from inside each room !

The location is good - near a mall, good road to get to the airport. It is on a gplf course - beautiful views, lush green and lots of water - very calm and refreshing in a busy city. Lots of space - many social areas, inside and out. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. We requested to watch a sports match in the public area and they found the match and changed the station. Helped to arrange a trip to Masai for us, ordered transport to go to mall. Steven, concierge, very capable, friendly and helpful. Food was good but expensive. Breakfast was included and it was good. Pool and area is vibey over weekend. We enjoyed our stay and returned for an extra night after our Masai Mara trip.

The tv and fridge did not work in the room. Due to covid restrictions the bars and restaurants have been reduced and bar at swimming pool only open at weekend. One can understand this but it does impact on your stay and the price is not reduced. Hotel not so old but appears old - it's the style. Very creaky wooden floors. Its quaint.

the view of the golf course was good, but that was about the best

no info given at reception about dinner or lunch, no info or menu in room, restaurant had to whatsapp me the menu, and then a simple order took over an hour to be delivered it is a beautifil gracious old building but in serious need of a facelift. even such basic things as a hospitality tray with coffee/tea in the room was absent, no one at reception overnight....it is realy not worth the expense to stay there..NOT RECOMMENDED!!☹☹☹☹

basic like ...Kettle ... Iron Box ... Small Tv Mattress Hard .... not enough plugs for phone and Pc charges .... This Hotel never been upgraded to today standard ... Was attending wedding could not iron my clothes unless charges ...

The grounds are beautiful, and the view of the golf course is magnificent.

- The TV is outdated so it is difficult to operate. Had to call for help (from reception, from housekeeping, from ICT), which came 45-min later. They refused to give me instructions on the phone. - The room service was terrible. My order was mixed up. They supplied ginger nut cookies instead of crackers to eat with cheese!!! They never replaced them in spite of my complaining. They served me with visibly dirty grapes. - There is no hot water kettle /coffee maker in the room, which is a basic appliance nowadays even in the simplest of hotels. The guest relations officer said 'matter-of-factly' that they do not provide them. - The rooms are dated, the wooden floor creaks too loudly, bathroom tiles are stained, so they do not look particularly clean. They are in dire need of renovation. The bin had not been emptied so it had used shower gel bottles and tissues from the previous client I suppose. - The room rate is about $100 higher than other nicer, newer hotels in the neighbourhood e.g. Trademark. - The staff are not responsive to customer complaints. 2 of them said that they had heard similar complaints from other clients before, and that management was aware. They seem immune.
