Way too many steps between reception and room

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable, spacious room, restaurant on-site with delicious and affordable meals but most importantly all the staff were welcoming, helpful and polite. They made it an enjoyable stay.

Room was on the 1st floor directly above the kitchen so it was noisy particularly during service in the evening but not what I would describe as excessive.

Charming property with lots of character set in beautiful gardens in a pretty part of Nairobi. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful on the first night of our honeymoon in East Africa and our suite was beautiful.

No negatives for us.

I was misled and disappointed about my planned early check in. The breakfast was barely passable.

I've had the pleasure of visiting the property for the third time, and each visit leaves me craving more. The experience is truly extraordinary, and I can't help but be captivated by it. One aspect that particularly stands out is the magnificent indoor heated pool, which I absolutely love.

I would suggest considering a refreshing update to your breakfast options and menu choices.

Had the best sleep of my life here. Staff were amazing and it was very quiet and lush. I booked an apartment and it was HUGE. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room. I had an early tour pickup so the hotel made me a takeaway box which was nice but not like the beautiful buffet on offer which sadly I missed. Staff were so nice and helpful.

For a “5 star” hotel the bathrooms and curtains were very dated and brought the quality down. The appliances themselves were great but just the aesthetic. The tv didn’t seem to have a remote that I could find and I asked for milk to have with coffee in the morning as I had to leave very early (before breakfast was commencing) and was assured there would be coffee from the restaurant I could have before I left but there wasn’t. Because it’s quite lush it’s also quite dark in the rooms. Would be lovely on a sunny day. All of these things were minor though.

The space was green and lush, fairly quiet for being in the middle of the city, and the staff were exceptional. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was so nice- consistent warm water and a very nice soaker tub!

My room was right near the kitchen so it was a bit noisy, but generally no other complaints!

everyone was so accomplished and the property was beautiful, really nice gardens in a quiet neighborhood.

We booked two nights in one of the apartments and had a lovely time. The apartment was very large, modern, clean, and bright. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was well appointed with toiletries, towels, and a large shower. I really appreciated the guest laundry in our building, which was very handy after a six night safari. I also really enjoyed the heated lap pool in our building. The property grounds are lovely, with lush landscaping and an outdoor dining area. All the food we had was fresh and delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Palacina Suites!

This property has lots of stairs so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The staff at palacina were amazing and we were made to feel so welcome. The property itself was stunning and felt like a private oasis in the otherwise bustling city.

It was incredibly hot during our stay and we were on the ground floor. The room had no air conditioning or fans and the windows didn’t have nets. We had to choose between being so hot we couldn’t sleep or having dozens of mosquitos in our room.

The hotel is a lovely oasis tucked in central Nairobi. The room was very large with a living room and kitchenette and separate bathroom. The indoor pool is stunning and there are laundry facilities that the guests can use themselves if they so choose. The main building and restaurant are cosy and nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. There is a small gym with a good variety of equipment.

The wifi in my room only reached about 1/3 of the suite and did not cover most of the living room and bedroom which was a bit inconvenient.

Palacina Hotel is a wonderful place, very beautifully furnished, in a lush garden! The room was spacious and bright, very comfortable, clean with everything you need. Breakfast and the restaurant are very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
