We liked everything. The design of the guesthouse is unique! it's a miracle in the middle of nowhere! Big kitchen, two restrooms, nice view!

Such a peaceful location with no one around. I arrived in the late afternoon and it was snowing. Totally away from the crowd and the busy concrete jungle, love it!

Be very careful while driving uphill on snow (to the accommodation)… basically if you have an SUV it should not be an issue but I had a small car which got stuck in the snow and blocked the main entrance of the property.

We ended up here due to road closure and this place was one of the highlights of our stay in Iceland. The hosts are amazing and our dinners were great. They helped us to get our car out of the snow which we really appreciated.

It was amazing ! You are far from everything and find peace and quiet. Elisa is an amazing host :) always keen to help. The guesthouse has 5 rooms and we got to meet the other guests and have a meal all together. Have the dinner cooked by Elisa and her husband it is delicious and very affordable. The kitchen has everything you need if you choose otherwise. Beds were comfy, everything was clean. You really feel at home.

They tricked us completely. We were stuck in a heavy blizzard and asked if they would refund us. They answer “Yes” without any hesitation. However, after four weeks, they still ignore all the letters from me and booking.com. I haven't gotten my refund of course

Although they sound nice, it is alligator tears.

Comfortable clean guesthouse. Kitchen is very well equipped. Two bathrooms are also useful and there was a washing machine that could be used.

The bathroom(s) were great with a huge bathtub. The host was extremely helpful and happy to let us stay longer and provide help when we got stuck due to closed roads. There was a small wool clothing shop as well, hand knitted by the host, with very reasonable prices.

The cheapest room is pretty small. The other rooms are much more spacious.

It was a really pleasant stay and Elisa is a welcoming and great host ! I definitely recommend it !

Our host were amazing people who provided everything we needed, very kind and amazing people. The place itself is big, kitchen has enough space to make anything you want and the rooms are cozy

Beautiful and cozy guesthouse in a rural area, felt like I came home after a long day and subpar accommodation the night before (not at the guesthouse). The host was very friendly and hospitable. Fully equipped kitchen with basic spices and cookware. Two shared bathrooms for four rooms. Easy self check in system (you have your name written on the door and the keys in the room).

Unusual, but the water at the shower was pretty hot (not scalding, but it couldn't be twisted below 35 deg.). Usually it is the other way around at accommodations :D

Very cosy Lovely guesthouse And this is the only place we saw the northern lights Highly recommend.

Location perfect for stargazing and the price is really affordable. We had everything we need in the kitchen.

Bed frame was too wobbly, was afraid it was going to break but fortunately didn‘t. Shower curtain needs to be replaced.

It was a good location. Place was clean. Nice big kitchen and dining area. Large shared bathrooms. Staff was nice came by evening and morning.

You couldn't ask for a better host, welcoming, friendly and very helpful, even in testing circumstances (extreme Icelandic weather and guests not being able to move on when they need to).

The space felt small when some inconsiderate parents turned up and let their child run riot, but that's no foult of the property. Once it was just adults, the space felt peaceful again.
