They started off right! I liked the little added personalisation touch. When we first walked into the room, the TV was on, and the screen said welcome " my name", I really liked that. The location was close to everything my wife or I wanted or needed. The room was very neat, clean, spacious, and accommodating. The rest of the hotel had great accommodations as well.

The bed sat lower than I'm used to, and the mattress was a little firmer than I would like. My wife loved it (she's shorter, and it kept me from snoring). Also, the electric window shade between the bed and sofa did not work/open. It's not a deal breaker but would've provided better lighting vs. the other window where the shade did work. When it came time to check out, I came down 5 minutes til so that I wouldn't be considered late, but I let the attendant know that I had to finish packing up and needed to get a luggage cart. About 5-10 min after I got back to the room to get everything together, guest services knocked at the door. I let them know we'd be out in just a few. No problem. Then 5 minutes after that, the front desk calls and says in a nice manner, "Hi, you checked out at 11" and I interrupted them and stated yes, we're on our way down now (in a nicemanneras well). I do understand that they have a job to do on both ends. But I felt as though they had taken my money, and now I was being shoved out the door. Yes, I took a little longer to get out of the room. But when we came out, guest services were still working on rooms down the opposite end of the hall, and the earliest check-in for any next guest wouldn't be until 3 pm... I'm not upset. It just rubbed me the wrong way a little.

Nice sized room. Easy checkin and check out process through the Hilton app. Relatively quiet hotel considering all of the construction in the surrounding area. Location in terms of proximity to the activities and restaurants was good. Decent amount of breakfast options. Good fitness center in comparison to others in the area.

Lots of construction in the area, so getting to and from the hotel is a bit daunting. Water in bathroom shower took a while to heat up.

Breakfast offered a good range of omelettes, filled bagels and fruit, among other breakfast items. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Soft Drink Dispenser at the breakfast bar was broken and was broken for 5 days.

The room was like an apartment

My daughter, her boyfriend and my son all woke up with bites the next day from apparently bed bugs.

It was very clean and quiet. As an older female, I felt very safe at this location. The desk clerks were cheerful and helpful. I appreciated the frozen dinners that were available for purchase on the one night I did not go out. The free bottled water was a nice perk.

The bed was not comfortable, but I don't know if it was actually the bed or my bad back. I am not a fan of pillow top matresses.

The location is great in my opinion, because it’s only a minute or two away from Cheddars and a few other restaurants, gas stations, the best movie theater in Beaumont, and Main Event (arcade, games, pool, bowling, laser tag). Its on the far south side of Beaumont so not close to the mall and such, but I like the little loop it’s on. I also liked how clean it was. There was absolutely no “strange smells” in this hotel and the weight room was actually quite lovely! I’m not sure what it was about it- the atmosphere, decor, layout… but it was my favorite workout room so far at hotels. Has a nob to turn the music up or down. The washer and dryer is also in the workout room area with a wall partition. The lady at the counter gave us free water bottles. The pool was a salt water pool. No chlorine! And it was a wonderful temperature and exceptionally clean. I am so picky about pools and I felt comfortable in this one. The rooms were very roomy and very clean. No musty smell from the AC (we had 124). Rooms also have a large pull out rolling table to eat on. Dishes and silverware are also provided with a full size fridge. Shower is large and all soaps are also provided in the shower attached to the wall. The breakfast was raved about in some reviews, but it seemed normal to me. Waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, and a toaster for your bagels and stuff. The scrambled egg and breakfast sandwiches were in a little shelved heated container and you get out what you want with tongs. The egg was made omelet style and folded over, breakfast sandwiches were egg, sausage, and cheese varieties. The apple juice wasn’t watered down.

The only thing I WISH they would change- is the bathroom door and the exhaust fan. There’s no exhaust fan! Do you know how important an exhaust fan is with a husband? Courtesy flushes cannot replace an exhaust fan. also the bathroom door is a sliding door….??? You can still see in through the edges if you wanted because it fits “just right” over the opening. No locking it either. Other than those two things- this place is amazing- and I would put up with these issues for all the other benefits.

The location would have been okay if the freeway was not under construction and I didnt have to take such a long detour to get to the hotel. the breakfast was okay, more like microwaved sandwiches. The location of this hotel was the best part of the stay once you figured out the detoured roads.

The bedding is worn. The blankets had holes all in them. Need better options for breakfast.

The breakfast was ok. I am typically used to having scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausages/bacon, etc. The breakfast here was not the standard, if that's what you're looking for. They served English muffins breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, oatmeal, various breads/muffins, and fruit. They used real utensils, plates, and glasses. That was a pleasant surprise. The location was good because it sits right off of the highway. The housekeeping staff were very friendly.

I would've preferred to have more familiar breakfast options. The sliding door for the bathroom was a little different. It was quiet when closing, but definitely louder when opening up because you couldn't determine the distance or your strength. One elevator did not work; so instead of 2 elevator options, there was only 1 to use besides taking the stairs.

Comfortable other than the used items.

The tissue roll, paper towel an kleenex was completely used please provide unused materials.

The pool was freaking closed the whole time I was there...

I loved that check-in was so easy! And Bernitta, the worker at the desk when I checked in, was absolutely an asset to Home2 Hilton Beaumont; She was kind, considerate and knowledgeable with city information that travelers are looking for in new locations!

I have no regrets.
