Beautiful b&b, large comfortable rooms, breakfast was incredible, lots of choice all made to order. No lift in the property so that may be something to consider. Town centre 20 mins walk away.

Fantastische plek om Gent te ontdekken. Heerlijke kamer, goed bed, mooie badkamer. Ontbijt heerlijk en voor ons prima op deze manier: een basis aanbod op tafel met extra's bij te bestellen. De Visit Gent Card een aanrader als je van plan bent om wat toeristische "attracties" te bezoeken waar entree voor gevraagd wordt. Bijkomend voordeel voor ons daarbij was het gratis gebruik kunnen maken van het openbaar vervoer (minuut of 20 om lopend het centrum te bereiken).

Super idee, de honesty bar. Helaas stond er geen moment water en waren op een bepaald moment de kopjes én kartonnen bekers op waardoor we geen koffie of thee meer konden pakken. Er was ook niemand om het aan te vragen en ook de volgende ochtend was het nog niet aangevuld.

Super accommodatie. Heerlijke kamers en een super ontbijt. Locatie was top , je was zo wandelend in het historisch centrum.

I enjoyed a lot the breakfast and the bathroom. And the location is excellent if you have a car.

There was some dust in the room and the carpet was full of dust and smelly. I could see stains. I don't recommend putting a carpet 😕

Super locatie, het ontbijt werd aan tafel gebracht en zeer lekker. Aan de receptie sprak de dame wel alleen Engels maar was zeer behulpzaam.

Enig minpuntje. Er is gratis water en koffie in de honestybar. Maar van de 4 keer dat wij een flesje water uit de frigo wouden nemen was er maar 1 keer water aanwezig. Er was niemand aan de receptie dus zijn de aan de overkant in de carrefour een fles water gaan halen. Dat was wel jammer, verder was echt alles top!

The staff were so friendly and helpful at B&B Achilles, the rooms were spacious and clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was fantastic. We actually unfortunately missed our final breakfast but a very kind lady who was working that day let us take a “goody bag” of croissants and fruit with us to go, which was so kind. Great location, it’s about a 20 or so minute walk into the centre and the surrounding area of the B&B is lovely. It’s also very close to Ghent train station too.

The staff were super friendly, the B and B was very nice and we loved the room we had - “Cozy Room.” It was decorated very nicely, the bed was huge and comfortable, bathroom very nice and easy to control temperature of room. Location was good - a quiet area just outside of town, but easy to get into the center of town - one road to walk and in about 10-15 mins you are there.

Er waren 2 kussen aanwezig om op te slapen. Eén was te dik en het ander was te dun :)

De glazen deur tussen de kamer en de badkamer is heel mooi maar iets minder praktisch. Verder alles top!

The room was spacious, wonderful decorated and very clean. Everything was immaculate. Lovely that we had some chocolate candies in the room and also water in the fridge when we arrived. Breakfast was tasty, with fruits, prosciutto, chesse, pastries, jam, eggs, granola yogurt and pancakes. It was a great weekend gateaway.

Bedroom is spacious, clean and comfortable. Toilet is also very clean and has very good water pressure. Property is located close to all the tourist attractions (20 mins walk) and Betty who runs the property is just the loveliest and friendliest lady we’ve ever met!

Nothing much to be honest. Just that the stairs up to the rooms are steep, but that is just an architectural design. Property is great.

Really comfortable bed and great bathroom. Great breakfast and really friendly staff. The location is a bit out of town but we walked in without any problem

Everything, it was perfect. From the first contacts with the host up to the last one. The room was gorgeous, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom large enough, well decorated and, for once in a long serie of b&b, the shower & tap were functioning perfectly...

Room for improvement : during the first night someone rang at the door several times, insisting, while we were sleeping on the room just above the entrance - it woke us up. The second night, some people sleeping in the other rooms were very noisy and it woke us up too. Maybe do something about the policy for the guests? Also, there were a lot of mosquitoes when we arrived - maybe just spray some natural repellent before new guests arrives?

Room was really clean and staff was the best. Breakfast doesn't have much options but it's really good.

Location little bit far from city center but public transport is available

We could not believe how lovely the B&B was. The rooms were furnished to a really high standard; the breakfasts were amazing; the staff were attentive and friendly.

It was a 20 minute walk to the city centre, although it was fine for us and there was a bus stop very near Achilles.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable and there were two types of pillows (firm and soft) which was a bonus. Free water and coffee. Breakfast was tasty. Good location between the downtown and the museums near the college. Nice little outdoor seating area and AC in the room.

We were on the top floor, 4 steep flights up. Thankfully we only had backpacks. That wasn't clear when booking the room. Everyone seemed really reserved and not welcoming. Didn't get a b&b vibe, more like a hotel.

Fabulous breakfast! Fantastic room with a small balcony.

The position, the staff were terrific. spotless, carrefour on cnr. coffee shop nearby. Easy walking distance to the main areas.
