Perfect for a night before a flight. Spacious room, AC, clean.

Close to the airport. Gives a taste of what a Cambodian house is like. Large room on the top floor was great. Private bath and cooking area. Space to sit. Large balcony outside the room with a great view of all the happenings on the street...morning vendors and people getting ready for their day. Clothes line on the balcony for drying clothes.
Everytime you leave or come back to the property be prepared to be greeted by several barking dogs. They would sometimes come close but otherwise would let you pass while barking at you.

Good location for the airport and quiet for how close it is. I had a basic room but had all I needed and was very comfortable! It was a shared bathroom but it was very clean. The family who live and work there were all very kind and helpful, recommend for a stopover or close accommodation to the airport

We needed to be close to the airport so this was a very convenient location for us.
The lady who runs the place was so helpful in giving us information on Cambodia as we had just arrived. Her English is excellent!
The owner of this place in general is so great. We had to leave Cambodia for almost 2 weeks and she kept our big bags for free. We stayed again for 1 night when we arrived back and were greeted so warmly, with our bags ready for collection and the same room we’d originally booked. It was a really lovely gesture!
The pet dogs are very aggressive

It would be better to update the bathroom water pressure much less, Basin water does not drain.
Very big and nice bedroom very close to the airport.There is no lift facility.children will find it difficult to climb stairs that are too small

WiFi is very poor, unable to stay connected for more then 5 min. Unable to connect to book next hotel or to let family know I arrived safely. No one around to ask to resolve problem. Info listed stated bed & breakfast, no breakfast option offered or discussed during stay, I would have purchased if available. Owners definitely have dogs, unfortunately not friendly & made for an uncomfortable stay 😔

It is an oasis from the busy róads and traffic surrounding it . Hot shower was great and the ability to make a cup of tea , cook a simple snack and keep things cool in the fridge . The bedroom was very clean and comfortable .Very close to the airport for an early flight .
Close to the airport , so quite a lot of flights taking off and landing . Surrounding roads are very busy with people traffic and pollution. I would have liked to have talked to the. family , but had very little contact , but the host did get me a tuk tuk to the airport early in the morning. Than you .

I chose to stay at the KOL House because it looked practical— economical and near the airport for a short and simple overnight layover. But now if I make it back to Phnom Penh I will stay here because it’s an awesome place! With an affordable comfortable and clean room, hot water, a furnished kitchen with spacious dining room, a nearby cafe, wifi, a fan with air conditioning and the list goes on…it is livable for a long-term stay! It’s got a great vibe too- with friendly furry friends and a welcoming and helpful manager.
