The eco feel was great!
The all inclusive package is not managed well by the staff. You constantly feel like your all inclusive package isn’t worth it. That was our experience. I will note there are some extremely knowledgeable staff that properly explain the all inclusive process. Please make sure all check in staff explain the all inclusive package and how it works.

There were long wait lines for all of the restaurants at breakfast and dinner as they were really understaffed. When you did sit down the service was really slow so it was quite a frustrating experience with small children.
It was "all inclusive" but then you paid 20% tip on every single meal - even the buffet breakfast... plus daily resort fee plus a conservation fee so there was a considerable bill at the end.

A luxury venue, ideal for couple’s time-off. Although, suitable for families with kids as well.
You must upgrade to the beach area rooms. Despite it’s an all inclusive, the quality of the food is above average. If you upgrade, you make sure to eat a la carte in certain restaurants
Connections between parts of the property are too lengthy.

breakfast and beach are great. nice property
They were under construction, with no main pool or easy way to go to the beach

Service is the best thing this place has. Everyone was so kind and at your service, they made this vacation very special. The hotel itself is beautiful, great facilities. I'll like to thank Christian Alea which was very attentive since our arrival, as well as Maricela Vázquez at front desk, chef Humberto Tuk Tuk and Vanessa the hostess. Would love to be back soon.
I stayed in two different bedrooms, the bed from the first bedroom wasn't as comfy as the second, don't know if the mattress was broken or just too soft. Aside from it, everything was supreme.

Food is amazing. The on site restaurants exceeded my expectations. Each menu is carefully crafted. Location is just amazing surrounded by nature. You really feel that you are in a 5 star hotel in the middle of the jungle. Personnel goes above an beyond to make you feel at home.

We had a nice stay despite the renovations. They are really trying to make it as nice as always.
The let down if any is the covid restrictions such as assisted buffets, and wearing masks. Also, all inclusive used to mean all inclusive here, but now some restaurants are under the co-pay format (you pay $5 + 15% at the Hix for instance, despite being under the all inclusive plan), and the Korean BBQ is always at an extra charge ($55), no matter what.

Food was excellent, grounds are beautiful, everything clean, maintained high sanitation standards and service was excellent.
No nightlife on the resort. No live music or dancing.

We loved the service at the restauarants, the pristine pools and amenities. The food quality & variety was on-point! The cocktails at the lounge were amazing and the beds were amazing!
The pool-side staff could offer better service.

Everything about this hotel we loved. Staff amazing. Beautiful location. Stunning beach. Lots to do. Can’t wait to go back.

- Amazing Staff that go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. Special mentions go to Jorge Rios, our butler, who was outstanding, and to Jorge Ayala, FD Director, who turned a problem into an opportunity.
- The grounds are breathtaking. The combination of jungle, canals, lagoons, PGA golf course and beach makes this a very special place.
- The property is very nicely laid out.
- COVID protocols are well managed.
- Heavy construction work throughout the entire beach area. We were grossly misrepresented about the extent of the work and its impact (through calls and on hotel's website).
- The room initially assigned to us was directly in front of a section being heavily jack hammered. Jorge was able to move us to another room that was about an additional 50 feet removed.
- At the beach we were shocked to realize the extent of the construction throughout the entire beach area having many effects: 1 Noise and debris pollution, 2 Transportation routes from beach area to main hotel area, 3. The hotel had to cram up some of the chaises and shades, 4. Extremely limited food and snacks selection at the beach bar, and 5. A constant parade of construction workers.
