No breakfast available. Ideal situation for Minster visit

Only problem was that the bathroom light came on twice, with nobody in there

Breakfast was not included with this accommodation. This was not a problem as there are several local cafes in walking distance. These included the Little Brunette Bakery and the Minster cafe (which is also open on a Sunday morning), but there are others which are good too. The location was good, a short walk down some of the more historical streets into the town centre. There was a USB socket in the bedside light. The accommodation was quiet with no rowdy people in the pub. We stayed over as we had been to one of the Candelight concerts in the Minster.

Its not a luxury hotel but has everything you need if you just want somewhere to stay for the night

The location, the privacy, the pub itself and the closeness-to Southwell Minster for The Beatles by Candlelight Concert- very nice facilities, easy to book and quiet- en-suite was very nice too

Very clean and close to the minster where we were attending a concert.

The shower head was not usable as a shower as it just flopped down, had to wedge it sideways to stand under it.

Simply location

Lack of comfort, Shower facilities mouldy and did not use.kettle screwed to wood and lack of spare pillows. Doubt the rooms meet most health and safety standards.

I always enjoy staying here as a base for the Ceramics in Southwell event and local attractions. Beds are so comfortable. Staff are lovely.

Personally I tend to choose places to stay because they have a bath, but I knew there were none in the property when I booked.
