the noise from upstairs rooms walking about, this woke us up, which was such a shame.

Everything. The Owner is a very kind woman! So halpful and welcoming. The room was really clean and comfortable. The breakfast is super! With first quality products. Peaceful place, with parking. Close to Sherwood Forest. Great Guesthouse! Very beautiful place.

From checking in to checking out, I was made to feel very very special. Fabulous room, breakfast and location. If your going to Mansfield this is definitely the best place to stay. 5 🌟 all the way.

What an absolute gem!! I was so surprised at how wonderful this place is! Clean, and so many added extras - a mug and a wine glass in my room as well as a fridge with complimentary water. Impressed at the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion! Smart TV and Wi-Fi. Lovely owners who go out of their way to make you welcome - were able to provide me with oat milk and gluten free options without any notice!! Amazing! I just loved that they have such attention to detail - providing scissors for those pesky sauce sachets for example! Breakfast was awesome! The dining room can be used on an evening to heat your own food in microwave if required.

No niggles, would have liked evening meals, but there a few locations nearby that serve excellent meals

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will definitely be staying again! We were so looked after by the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the fact they remembered what we ate the last time we stayed was a fabulous touch.

Set in a quiet rural location, but only ten minutes away from the town of Mansfield where there are good range of shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and nicely equipped, and the owners very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Warm welcome from hosts Tracey & Emyr Jones who provided for a perfect stay. They even packed a delicious take away bagel breakfast when I couldn’t stay to eat in. Very clean, comfortable and lots of thoughtful little extras in the room. A quiet location, ideal for relaxing.

We stayed here as a family group to attend a wedding. Emyr helped us organise a minibus by emailing details of local companies. Which I felt was excellent service from him. We were all warmly greeted by Emyr and his wife Tracey on arrival. The facilities were spot on, they have covered everything we needed for our stay. Even managed to avert a wardrobe disaster Everyone was happy with their rooms and enjoyed the lovely breakfast each morning.

Couldn't fault anything, hosts were lovely and very knowledge about the area. The room was really big even had a couple of lazy boy chairs. Such a lovely place. Walks right on your doorstep.

Little minor thing but a slip mat for the shower. They probably had one but I did ask for it. My fault not the hotel.

I was greeted with a very warm welcome and had no doubt that I could ask for anything I needed during my stay. Tracey was extremely attentive and accommodating when I needed somewhere to store my bike, and went above and beyond to help me fix a small problem with it. I had a quiet, peaceful night in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, helping to propel me on the next leg of my cycle journey! The attention to detail in everything was really outstanding. All of this in a beautiful forest-side setting!

Faultless breakfast which is rare these days

Bridleways has been refurbished under the current owners who have been there just over five years. Facilities in the room were top notch including a small but functional bathroom with a heated mirror, Cole & Lewis shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and good quality linen. In the bedroom there were nice touches such as bottled water in the fridge, eye mask and ear plugs, the latter not required. Out early for a park run I mentioned that I wouldn’t need breakfast but was still offered a bacon sandwich in my return which was gratefully accepted. Very happy to recommend

Second stay in this fabulous Guesthouse and again it was super. The wonderful hosts remembered why we had come last year (under difficult circumstances) and messaged us before we arrived asking how things were , they even remembered what we had ordered for breakfast 12 months previously.This personal attention to detail is exceptional

Lovely location, very quiet and paecful. Booked Bridleways for a friend from USA. Emyr and his wife had thought of everything. There was ansolutely everything she needed in the room, and a good breakfast. Service was very good

My friend could not work out how to work the shower, but it seemed there was a problem whereby it ran either very hot or very cold - it was fixed promptly.

A truly lovely welcome at Bridleways, where the owners go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Have to mention what a superb breakfast they offer with great quality ingredients which was appreciated. Thankyou.

Beautiful property with lovely walks around it

What a special place. Tucked away in farmland, surrounded by bridle paths and parklands, it's very quiet and a great place for walking. The house is lovely, and an exceptional guesthouse with hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. There's a laundry, and they set places for you in the evenings in the breakfast room in case you want to bring back takeaways or heat a meal in the microwave. Rooms are great and breakfasts lovely. Highly recommended.

Everything about Bridleways was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The rooms are great - a lovely size and extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast is amazing and the location was perfect, with plenty of parking. More than anything Emyr and his wife were perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so welcoming and friendly - I will definitely be staying again. Thanks Emyr!
