The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the accommodation was very comfortable with plenty of room to socialize also, and it looks amazing too! We really enjoyed our stay here and can not recommend this place enough. Thank you Jonathan and others!

Location is a bit far, but because the beach is walking distance and the city center is tricycle distance we did not mind one bit!

Amazing bamboo structure archecture! It's a must try if you visit Puerto Princesa. The neighborhood is very local to walk around and Bamboo Nest Beachfront is just 10-15mins walk away and I spent a great afternoon there for sunset with beach walk! Bamboo Nest has a great kitchen for cooking and next to it is the central court to sit around and relax with all the greens. The place is very clean with hot showers, as listed it has no AC and the pavement road Abt 50m away from dorm room is bit busy with bikes and bamboo cottage is not meant for sound proof but it's definitely a must try stay.

The animals on the property were cute! The host let me have a late check-in, helped with transport, and recommended a beach to drive to.

The other guest and I found the early morning construction right outside our room distasteful, especially after long days of traveling. The location is pretty far from town, all things considered, and there are no amenities offered here.

Great kitchen facilities, outdoor area is great.

The best place to stay in Puerto Princesa, the owner is one of the best host I have ever met. I would recommend this place for everyone that is looking for something out of the normal hostel rooms. Full of friendly pets that steal your heart and amazing community. 10000000% recommend

Jonathan the owner is very welcoming and helpful. He took me to the airport himself on his motorcycle at 4 AM after the driver cancelled on the last minute!! The place itself is built so beautifully and cool., all from bamboo!

the bedsheets didn't feel so clean, and the room had no actual windows so you could hear any noise from outside...

Everything about our stay was amazing. It's an incredible structure built by Jonathan over the years, truly a sight to behold. From the first night he made us feel welcome and invited us down to his other accommodation Bamboo Beach for a night of coconut wine and wonderful music. He and all of his associates were a pleasure to spend time with. Jonathan was also very helpful when it came to us maximising our time in Puerto, making suggestions for how best to spend our short time in the town. We also relied on him for all of our tour and scooter bookings and he really delivered. The immediate area around Bamboo Nest is akin to a small village full of local residents and traders (you really feel like a local). Everyone we met in the area was friendly and happy to help direct lost tourists. Make sure to try some of the restaurants on General Madrid Road. It was the best accommodation my wife and I had on our trip so far! Highly recommend.

The bamboo nest is such a nice place ! We stayed there twice for a short stay and we loved it. The house has such a unique architecture, it's very beautiful. And Jonathan and his family are the nicest people and are really helpful !!

Loved our stay at Bamboo Nest! Jonathon the owner was so lovely and upgraded us to the waterfront bamboo floating home! It was sooo amazing, such a highlight stay of our Philippines trip. One of the best parts was getting to know Jonathon's kids and the workers making the other bamboo floating homes. They were very welcoming and very funny. The location is a bit of a ride out of town but it was a nice tricycle trip into town. We loved staying in a more local area anyways. We loved our stay here and will be back one day!

This place is a very unique and amazing place. Lots of art and decorated with a lot of love. The owners are very helpful if you have any questions, need to go somewhere or whatever else you might need… the place is located in a very local area and people are also super kind… reading some of the comments saying there are no restaurants around that us simply not true… once you go down to the beach there are loads of local restaurant. Just look into the pots and decide what you want to have. It is just a 5 minute walk from the place. Very cheap and really tasty ! if you’re looking for western restaurants in the classical sense, yes there are none but isn’t it part of the experience to try the local food ? I enjoyed my stay there a lot, especially the jam session on Saturday but you have to decide for yourself what you want ☺️

if you are looking to be close to the city Center/where there is a lot going on, Western style restaurants you might want to think about if this is the right place ☺️
