The location was very convenient for our group of 4 adults, the room and beds were excellent with tea/ coffee facilities and secure gated undercover parking puts your mind at ease not having to worry about leaving your car out on a street overnight. Excellent staff member on reception explained everything very pleasantly.

No grievances at all from our group of 4.

It is an amazing base for Gabba home games. An easy walk to the game and great service and value for money.

Very good location, close to city everywhere with Uber and nice cafes and restaurants nearby. There’s also available secure parking on premises.

A bit older inside but great to see how they’re in process of renovating the whole property.

The location was great for our purpose. We were concerned we wouldn’t get a park but the staff ensured we did. We arrived late and left early so didn’t use the facilities. But the room was clean and spacious

It is noisy but that is to be expected so close to the city and a main road, it didn’t disturb our sleep though.

Not enough car parking

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel they went over and above to accommodate us and our large vehicle, without a grumble but with smiles all round, during a time when they had no vacancies. They even allowed a non-resident to park in their garage as it was an AFL night at the 'Gabba. Great service. If we were to stay in Brisbane again we would return to City Star Lodge.

We're still trying to find something....maybe putting spare pillows in the wardrobe, found in the morning...not a biggy really.

Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Staff were helpful. Queen bed was very comfortable. Fantastic water pressure. The complimentary water is refreshing and the biscuits were yummy. Room was close to front entrance and exits. Private car park. Vending machine. Pool. Close to shops restaurants etc.

The single bed sloped almost falling out of the bed. Double bed is too close to wall. Literally smashed my head getting up during the night. Bathroom has no vent, sadly mould is growing in the shower( remember I'm looking closely). Room needs some new rail fixtures as they are rusted. If you have a disability there is no lift. Some would find the room small. Our room was off front entrance it could get noisy, people talking out front at 1am. Our room was made up when the sign displayed not too.

very clean & the beds are comfy. even though I didn’t use the pool, I loved the fact that we had direct access to it from our room. we were on the ground floor. it took us approximately a half hour to walk to Southbank. there are plenty of eateries within walking distance from the hotel as well. the staff are very friendly & helpful. I will stay here again

Good place to stay for a night or 2. The staff are super freindly and helpful. The beds are very comfy and the room was exceptionally clean.

The only real complaint I had traveling with 2 kids was the lack of a toaster and/or microwave. It would have made life a little easier if these things were provided in the room.
