Warm, homely, spacious apartment with all facilities. Very comfortable beds. Host, Duncan had provided milk in fridge for our late arrival and apartment was lovely and cosy.

Lovely spacious apartment very quiet; and peaceful and was able to relax after a really long shift. A massive thank you to the host for picking me up from burgess hill. It made a massive difference to me as I'm a disabled lady; and travelling with luggage is difficult.

Couldn't work out the heating on my last.

great location, clean and modern. Buxted park is within easy walking distance

it is in the middle of 2 busy roads but they weren’t too noisy

Central location we used to visit friends in East Grinstead 17 mins. Brighton 20mins and we took the train from Uckfield station ( 15mins) into London Bridge Station just over an hour away.

Great communication. Great location, close to a pub which was very lively on a Saturday evening. One bedroom really comfortable, the other was quite a small bed. Lots of kitchen bits which was great.

The bed in the smaller bedroom was really small in width and length. My husband and I are 5’10 and 5’11 and our feet stuck out the end of the bed. Bathroom wasn’t squeaky clean but was ok!

The apartment was extremely dirty - there was sick all up the bathroom door and a terrible smell of sick in the living area. I hoovered on arrival as the carpets were covered in dirt and similarly the wooden floors in the living space were dirty with lots of water marks. A thick layer of dust over anything not immediately in sight. The apartment had either bedbugs or fleas and I was covered in bites. I sent a message to the host to alert him to spare further guests and received no response or apology to my latest message. Do not stay here!!!!

Lovely place, very pretty, very clean, it's like having a self contained flat to yourselves, very nice everything you need from cooking to washing and sleeping and even a parking space for one car.

The key pad was very fiddly to use, to get the keys out from, and I wish there was two pillows on the bed, other than that a brilliant place.

Very comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Coffee, tea and milk provided which was very welcome. Duncan has written a comprehensive guide to local walks and places of interest which was helpful in finding walks for our Dalmatian Clementine. We felt really at home there.

There was nothing to dislike.

Slightly tired decor. Could do with de-cobwebbing. Small bedrooms, no wardrobe space in one room.

It is located at the edge of town. Beautiful starry skies when we arrived in the evening. It is ideally located if you are driving. Very comfortable beds, I can never sleep in a new place and I slept soundly here. Well equipped for a short family stay, lots of info for local walks and sights. we hope to be back soon.

Entrance door was a bit temperamental, persevere. Host warned us of this in advance. Generally floors, sofa, linen and beds were very clean but some details were missed.
