Lots of things to love - 1) The location - right on the beach. The hotel is basically two buildings, one is right on the beach with the pool and some rooms available and others being renovated. The main building is just behind that old building across the street, with more modern rooms. The main avenue has tons of restaurants to go to. The beach was very quiet and calm, not at all crowded which is exactly what I needed for my little getaway. 2) The staff - each member was incredibly professional, warm, kind, and helpful. The chef in the kitchen lent me her personal bottle opener for the entire duration of my stay. I was able to store some things in the kitchen’s refrigerator with no problems. Wonderful people. 3) The breakfast - perfect start to each day. Great options for everyone. The coffee was incredible. All included in room price. 4) Main building - clean modern rooms with some views of the ocean. 5) Room upgrade - I requested a room with an ocean view when I checked in (it was my birthday so why not) and got it for half of my stay when the room became available. 6) WiFi - seamless reception, no complaints. Worked perfectly for Zoom meetings 7) Taxi service - I couldn’t find an Uber or Didi after I checked out, and the girl at the reception called a cab for me.

A few things - 1) No elevator, had to climb to the third floor with my stuff. 2) The AC and the shower in my first room gave me some trouble. 3) After I moved to the ocean view room in the older building which is on the beach, I found ants on the clean beds. Got the room sprayed and sheets changed before unpacking my belongings. 4) The bathroom in the new room wasn’t updated. No shower curtain, no towel rod, no hair dryer. It was difficult to put things in the bathroom because of no such counter space or hooks for hanging. The shower and hot water worked very well though. 5) The curtains in my new room in the older building weren’t the blackout kind so I woke up with the sun and to the sound of the renovation going on right outside. Sometimes the sounds felt like they were coming from inside my room, made me jump a few times. 6) The balcony door wouldn’t slide; it had to be lifted and moved to open or close.

The staff was awesome! Rooms are clean. Breaksfast was good.

We were able to get the bungalow but the living room seats are made out of concrete and there were no cushions on there so we had to sit on concrete it was quit uncomfortable and we had to shower with cold water I had to go ask for it to be turned on.
