A pochi passi dalla foresta di sequoie e da alcuni dei migliori percorsi per mountain bike del mondo, questa spaziosa casa moderna a pianta aperta offre tutto il necessario per una vacanza rilassante o una visita ricca di avventure.
Perfetto per i viaggiatori avventurosi con i giocattoli: il doppio garage ha accesso interno e un ottimo deposito con serratura per mountain bike.
Sono disponibili diverse aree relax;
- Due ponti fuori dalla cucina / sala da pranzo esposta a est o ovest per prendere il sole del mattino o della sera, mangiare all'aperto e un barbecue.
- Una zona erbosa al largo della camera da letto più grande con sacchi di fagioli all'aperto per sedersi sotto la vela all'ombra e godersi il bellissimo giardino.
- Una grande sala open space con smart TV e una grande camera da letto matrimoniale sul retro della casa allestita per i bambini per mantenere il rumore lontano dagli adulti. Al piano inferiore c'è un enorme garage doppio con accesso interno in modo che gli ospiti possano armeggiare su biciclette / auto e barche a loro piacimento.

We had a great couple of nights here with our two teen boys and dog. It's a fabulous house - lots of space, good kitchen, secure storage for the bikes and fully fenced for the dog. V handy to the redwoods and the spa was lovely. Would gladly stay again.

Our group of close friends have been riding mountain bikes together for 29 years. The house served our purposes with it's excellent location and comfortable facilities. Great spaces and nice to relax in the spa pool after a day of riding in the Redwoods Mountain Bike Park just down the road.

Great position as our purpose of being there was to do the Redwood Treetops Walk. I spent time cleaning when we arrived, table and bench tops were not clean and the living area was dusty everywhere. On the other hand the bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets were clean. The couple who slept in the bunk room said their bed was very uncomfortable, sore hips and shoulders in the morning.

Close to town only a few minutes drive. Clean house. Spa was a treat, both kids and adults enjoyed it. House had dishwasher which made clean up easy. Washing machine and dryer came in handy with our 5 children and 5 adults. House is very spacious. Overall we all enjoyed our stay very much, thank you for the pleasant stay.

Found the property exactly as represented in its photos and description. Was very clean, super warm and a pleasure to stay in. The spa pool was fab and on cold very wet afternoons (which was every day) was very much enjoyed. Located near the Redwoods and not far from the Blue and Green Lakes made it perfect for walking the dogs. Would definitly stay again if going to Rotorua.

Cosy warm family comfort
Although we had a lot of issues with dishwasher, spa pool the house is overall very comfortable and spacious for family. For the price I think you should seriously think about updating the beds to king size as both were uncomfortable and hubby had to sleep in the spare room as one was way too soft and the other way too small. The Management were helpful at every step when we encountered issues and fixed all the problems. The house is very cosy and warm and perfect for a winter holiday

Great Family Stay
We really liked this property. It was great for our group. Grandparents, 4 parents and 4 children ranging in age from 6 to 2 years. Our biggest criticism would be warmer bedding was required for this time of year. Some of our party were very cold as they had shared the extra bedding with the children.

We had a lovely stay with just the right amount of space, the kids even had a dance off in the rumpus room down stairs. With A great park close by and the redwoods forest 2mins away it was perfectly situated . I would recommend this house to families wanting a comfortable stay.

An easy place to stay
Great for an extended family catch up. Rotorua is central for
us to come to. Property was large enough to accommodate 6 adults and a toddler. Although tidy it wasn't so pristine that we worried about making a mess. House could probably do with a bit of maintainence as doors and windows were hard to open & close. But overall good.

Fairly happy
House clean and comfortable, heating on for arrival much appreciated on very cold weekend. Spa hot but unfortunately no light for use at night which was when we needed it after a day of activity. This needs to be addressed as the spa was the reason we chose this property

The only thing I would have to say is that the mattresses on the bunks and the single bed in the other bedroom were very uncomfortable. We bought some new teaspoons too.

Winter weekend adventures
Great place for an action packed stay in Rotorua. Lovely neighbourhood, immaculately clean, fantastic that we could bring our old dog. Only suggestion is extra blankets being available for beds (bit chilly first night as we turned heaters off). But great for our two families. Our boys (10-13) loved the bunk room.

Family get together
Overall impression was good, good amenities and proximity to Red wood forest. Was some chewing gum left under bunk beds and tissue left in same room otherwise spotless. There were no lights out to the hot tub which is a safety hazard and couldn't see the extra foldout bed in the lounge or the dog bed it wasn't required but was advertised. Curtain rail in the bedroom next to the toilet was just hanging on as one of the clips were missing and the garage door didn't work consistently..

Pet and family friendly
Thoroughly enjoyed our home-away-from-home for 4 nights.
What we loved:
- The spa.
- The generous space both in and outdoors.
- Ample heating options
- The security of the property for our two dogs while we were away during the days.
- Fast WiFi (fibre)
- The quiet neighbourhood and nearby park for the kids.
- The laundry facilities (washer and dryer) allowed for us to keep things turning over during what turned out to be a wet 4 days.
- I left an item behind at the house. The staff were very helpful in retrieving and returning this to me by post.
The only issues we had were:
- Couple of cleaning issues (needed a quick vacuum upon arrival and the fan in bathroom needed cleaning). Raised these matters with staff and received a sincere apology. We did not hold this against the Rotorua Retreats staff or homeowners though as you can see that a lot of love and thought has gone into the home’s decor and design. This matter was to be addressed with the contracted cleaners.
- Guest book WiFi instructions need updating. Rotorua Retreats staff were quick to arrive to assist us with connection issues though so all went well after that.
Final tip to future guests in regards to garage doors. The switches for the automatic doors are to your left as you enter the garage via the interior access door. In other words, the switches are exactly where you would reach for a light switch. My sister was the first one to fall for this and we teased her about it only for me to make the same mistake the next day. We had our cars parked outside the garage so it was just lucky that our Holden’s bumper was solid enough to take the hit both times :)
All-in-all, we would happily recommend this home to future guests. Thank you all for hosting our mob ;)

Great MTB base
Great place to base a MTB holiday from, could ride to and from the tracks, huge basement to store your bike, a good hose to clean them with and a spa to recover in 👍
