This little gem of a hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. The rooms have been updated, so are comfortable and fitted with fresh new fixtures and fittings. The room even had a fridge, tea/coffee making and a safe. The location was great. not only near the famous Crawford Market but there is also a huge local market area right on the doorstep where you can buy anything and everything you might need. The market is for locals, so no inflated tourist prices and no hassles. Even though it is on and/or near some major throughfares, the room was quiet while giving easy access to some of Mumbai's major attractions.

There are few options for breakfast nearby until after 9am. Once the hallway carpets are replaced and the hallway walls plastered - the Crawford Inn will be a very pleasant little hotel. At the moment the access to the rooms lets the place down. Because the windows of the rooms are overlooked by other properties, the window blinds cannot be opened meaning that the room is dark and lights need to be used. If the windows could be fitted with reflective tinting film (where the occupant can see out but no one can see in), then not only will the rooms be filled with natural light but will also save the hotel on electricity.

The pictures are from 20 years ago, and they do not do any maintenance, so the room doea not look anything like the pictures
