The three ladies on reception on Saturday night were no professional friendly or possessed any people skills! The fact that when you book through booking.com breakfast wasnt included . The price of one night( no breakfast) Wasnt worth it!

Very clean and in a good location for our needs

We had a meal in the bar which we had previously booked as there were 18 of us. However, no one mentioned that you had to order your food at the bar so we sat waiting for 30/40 mins for someone to serve us. Then when we did order all the meals did not come at the same time so some guests had finished their meal before other meals arrived. Each person was ordering and paying for themselves so maybe this had an impact, but we were all on the same table so common sense would have been to bring them altogether 🥴. My sister and I we’re staying at the hotel and paid for breakfast. We had the full English, which was nice but weren’t given or offered any toast which was included. Grapefruit segments were on the menu but not available and when I asked I was told if they weren’t on the buffet there wasn’t any. We we’re at breakfast by 8am and it was quiet, so it wasn’t that the grapefruit had been eaten, there just wasn’t any 😳. Staff wise all were pleasant except for one male staff member, who seemed like he was in charge. He was a bit curt and off hand, he didn’t make us feel like welcome guests, more like an annoyance. Finally we had a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc wine with dinner - there was only a choice of 3 white wines, but I thought it was overpriced at £30 a bottle. Overall I think the venue is a bit over-priced and would be reluctant to stay there again.

Not a great deal wedding facilities like bars and venue good .

Rooms poor no fridge need for keeping medication cool in summer .no ceiling light .no dressing table light for make up etc.standard of room compared to travel lodge and Premier in much the same but you pay double the price and no breakfast included .London prices and I live and work there .outside of bar and restaurant opening times no where to sit and relax ie no lounge areas with TV and drink facilities alcohol or tea coffee .just your room .

Rooms very dated also didn't know that had to pay for the use of the pool at 20 pp which after paying over 100 you would think it was include breakfast was extra ss booked on b.com which is total rip off !!

Paid £130 for room only which we thought was expensive. Other similar venues we have stayed at allow use of all the facilities & include breakfast for less than that price.

Good value hotel with everything you would need. Rooms clean & tidy. Very good staff.

The only issue is being out of town and in the middle of the country - difficult if you don't have your own transport

I did book thro Booking dot com and asked for one room with bath and one with shower next door if poss, but we were given two shower rooms. When I questioned this was told all rooms with baths had gone, tho Booking.com didn't tell me this

Fabulous venue for the YFC event we attended with excellent silver service dinner. Hot, plentiful and excellent service.

We were not allowed to purchase just side orders in the bar with our drinks both times. First order was no problem, second order we were told no. we had travelled and required a snack before the event in the function suite. This was disappointing and didn’t meet our needs and was the only issue all weekend.

The food in the restaurant was nice

You have to pay to use the facilities but you only find this out after you have booked the room. bed was very uncomfortable and rooms are not nice at all and need major update

It is in desperate need of a makeover, it is still in the 1980-90s. The hallways flooring was filthy. We only has 2 parts of loo rolls. We only had 1 large and one hand towel for 2 people. The blinds for our room had only been partly removed. The breakfast hash brown had been cooked in rancid fat and the sausage was cheap.

Prices are outrageous for the location. very small bed. Heating not on on arrival, no bath mat, faulty light on bathroom mirror, staff not engaged, bar area is away from main building, room and bathroom never really warmed up.

£12.00 per person for breakfast!?! was absolutely not worth it. First time booking a stay here online and when I googled there was no sign of another option but booking.com. Receptionist very abruptly pointed out to us that this was out fault! Not a good start to the stay by any means.

Bathroom was spacious and clean. Room was clean and tidy. Lady on reception was lovely.

Pillows were shocking to sleep on, hardly got any sleep as they were really worn and uncomfortable. There was no main light in the room which was really bizarre! There was no room service available for drinks so we had to go downstairs and the staff weren't very approachable or helpful. Past 11pm there is no bar service for drinks. We got served just in time before the bar closed but staff didn't seem happy to serve us. We won't be staying here again due to the service. We have always gone for food but don't think we will be doing that now either.

Breakfast was quite nice and quick service but bacon was not very good

It was not clear that access to the gym and/or pool was not part of the cost. The cost for hotel guests was £20 for a day which when travelling for work is very steep (don't get time to enjoy it)
