Room was an attic one. Odd layout. Very average for the price. There was an overpowering smell from a plug-in air freshener which was too strong for the size of the room but the musty smell it was obviously trying to hide was not great. Overall it’s not a bad place. I think we were unlucky with the room and the decor was not to our taste - a bit odd really.

Lovely spacious room and bathroom with very comfortable bed. Location very close to local amenities. Good choice of breakfast dishes.

Room was large and very nicely decorated. It was airy, facilities were very good. Lots of art work throughout the whole hotel and including the rooms which, all by local artists I believe. Staff were lovely. Very polite at all times and very obliging.

Parking available directly outside the guesthouse. Very friendly welcome. Bedroom and bathroom very clean and had a fan available. Good tea, coffee, chocolate drink, water in room with biscuits and sweet jar with fruit salad and black jacks😘! Large choice for cooked breakfast, as well as juice, fruit and cereals and excellent coffee. Lovely, friendly waiting staff.

Location was very good, close enough to the seafront to very quickly get to the centre, but also on a quiet street so minimal noise at night.

The only time I saw anyone who worked there was at breakfast, and when I collected my bag at the end of the day. It was difficult to find someone to speak to to ask questions.
