Die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel auf Englisch hat gut funktioniert. Unser Wunsch nach einem Check in bei Ankunft am Vormittag wurde problemlos erfüllt. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und spricht Englisch. Unser Zimmer Nr. 607 war modern, geräumig und sauber; die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut und leise. Die Dusche war hervorragend.
Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral, unweit des Präsidentenpalastes. Vom Flughafen sind es ca. 18 Km, ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt. Am Flughafen gibt es Angebote für offizielle Taxis zu 25000 CLP 8ca. 25 Euro).
Der Frühstücksraum ist recht nüchtern; das Buffet ist gut und ausreichend. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber. Frühstück gibt es ab 07:00h.
Tip: Im Zimmer steht eine 2,5l Wasserflasche zum Kauf. Im Frühstücksraum (2. Etage) kann man sich aber beim Buffet ganztags kostenlos die Wasserflasche(n) auffüllen.

Me agrada la seguridad, tranquilidad y el confort del hotel, la atención del personal, siempre estan atentos para que los pasajeros nos sintamos cómodos como en casa, el administrador sabe su labor, porque el hotel está cada vez mejor.
No hay un punto negativo, todo muy bien, somos pasajeros frecuentes y el Administrador se las ingenia con detalles para que nos sintamos a gusto y siempre tengamos deseos de regrresar, no cambiaria el Panamericano por otro hotel del Centro, me da todo lo que necesito.

Não pude avaliar bem pelo pouco tempo que fiquei, mas uma coisa que deixou a desejar foi a quantidade de ovos no café da manhã que não foi reposta durante a minha estada.

No último dia no hotel tive um contratempo e fiquei sem água pra tomar banho mas eles arrumaram o problema e em 15 minutos a água voltou.

No dia em que cheguei para fazer o check-in, por volta de 16:00 da tarde, entrei sem mala, nem nada. Estavam todas na casa de um amigo ali próximo e as levaria mais tarde. Quando entrei senti com que os recepcionistas olharam pra mim de uma maneira diferente e um tanto quanto me desprezando. Achei aquilo péssimo. Principalmente a mulher de óculos e sobrancelhas pretas fortes. Após falar que seria check-in ela mudou o semblante. O rapaz perguntou qual seria a forma de pagamento e eu disse que em pesos chilenos. O paguei. Ele olhou no computador e riu de algo. E mostrou pra menina que estava ao lado dele. Outra vez me senti desconfortável. O wifi poderia ser um pouco melhor.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the Plaza del Armas. Staff was very helpful and gave us a chance to check in early. We had flown all night, so this was greatly appreciated. Our room was quiet. Breakfast was really extensive and very good.

Centrale Lage,schöne große Zimmer.Als wir das 2.Mal in diesem Hotel angekommen sind,haben wir ein anderes,leider sehr dunkles und lautes Zimmer erhalten,das aber 2 Tage später getauscht wurde.Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal.Zimmer sehr sauber.Die Betten wurden jeweils am 3.Tag neu bezogen. 1x im Hotel am letzten Tag zum Abend gegessen: sehr gutes Tagesmenü zum fairen Preis.
Wenn man wie wir in mehreren Fraktionen fast 14 Tage im Hotel verbracht haben,wäre ein mehr abwechslungsreicheres Frühstück wünschenswert.Rührei,Würstchen,chil.Omelette jeden Tag .

Aunque el edificio del hotel es bastante viejo, está bien cuidado, las habitaciones y áreas comunes impecables, las camas super cómodas, bastante silencioso (se descansa muy bien), con máquina Nespresso y café gratis en la habitación y un buen desayuno, variado, con variedad de opciones, bastante frutas, leche vegetal y vegetales lo cuál es maravilloso.
El chek in y check out súper rápido y el personal es muy atento.

Actually stayed there twice during a week-long trip, 2 days each time.
It was a bit difficult to find the front entrance as it opens from a tiny side street.
Front desk staff did not have great English, but tried everything to accommodate and help. Room was clean and comfortable, hotel is smack middle of downtown, about a block from the presidential palace, walking distance from a lot of restaurants and shops.
We liked that they provided free parking nearby, and the breakfast was EXCELLENT! Full breakfast with eggs and pastries and everything. Staff was friendly and helpful, definitely recommend!
Staying on the 4th floor we could still hear the live music at night from a nearby restaurant. 2nd stay at 7th floor was quieter.
Be advised, during winter month central heat is only turned on at 5pm for the night, but there is a window AC unit that can heat too.

A great value and great location. It's walking distance to many museums (most of which were free!) as well as many other attractions/destinations such as Santa Lucia Hill, San Cristobal Hill, the Lastarria and Bellavista neighborhoods and more. Central to many metro and bus stations and right next to the busy walking avenue during the week which is very chaotic but very fun. Then it goes completely silent during the weekend. The bed was comfortable and the room was just fine for what we needed. The free breakfast was a main reason we booked the hotel as we ate out basically all other meals. It was adequate to put something in our stomachs for the start of our busy days. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
We struggled with a language barrier more than we expected, but that is on us not the hotel staff. Just a caution to others who don't speak fluent Spanish. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and did their best to help or grab someone who can understand.
