Our room was very clean. Bathroom very clean.

Our first breakfast, for some reason, was waitress service for the cooked breakfast, which we wern't keen on (we much prefer to pick our own hot food). Next day breakfast was back to the usual self service which was much better for us.

Everything was explained when we arrived, there was a large party in so we needed to get our food order in early. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good both in terms of quality and quantity. Hotel was very quiet at night, made sleep easy. Bed was comfortable and the room a good size and quality.

Only issue was we booked a twin room and got a double, but not a big problem for me and my son

The overall experience would have rated more favourable if the Manager had followed up on her statement to contact me about the stay.

Ant infestation in the room. No available room to change. Pest control unavailable out of hours. No ant traps on site. I ate my meal in my car in the car park as I didn't want to take food in the room and wasn't up for sitting in the restaurant alone (I had ordered room service before the ants were discovered). On check out I was informed the Manager wanted to speak to me but she was too busy and would ring/email me. I am still waiting 4 weeks later......

service for evening meal, staff forgot to inform us the deadline for ordering dessert, however Alex the waiter was very good.

Chaos at breakfast due to a coach party...gave up trying to get our tea and coffee and 3 attempts

Not as clean as would like. The restaurant area felt grubby. Breakfast mediocre. Ok in general but overpriced.

Breakfast was really good. Parking excellent.

The staff in the restaurant were not attentive at all. I realised quite quickly that I would need to approach them to take my order for a drink and dinner.

The room was clean reception staff friendly and efficient. Food was good. Have stayed before so knew it would be good

The second night in the very quiet restaurant we were left waiting for 20 minutes to order our food. I emailed the property whilst we were sitting at the table to complain and THEN got an apology

Consistent throughout with Holiday Inn standards - spacious room - comfortable bed. Bathroom with excellent shower. Location was a bonus - very peaceful.
