It was a fairly long walk to get to town ( there was a bus option) Walking on the road was a little dangerous at times

Nice owner, the apartment is very clean and cozy, you can feel the atmosphere of Amalfi, the apartment is nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. If you haven't car it's not so near to go to city or to train station - it's much more than 15min walking steep escarpment without a sidewalk which is dangerous. We had car so it wasn't problem for us. Despite the small inconvenience, only in winter it is a great starting point for Amalfi.

In the apartment in the winter you have to heat with a fan heater, which is 1 per apartment, so it is quite a nuisance because it was cold anyway.

A lovely well-equipped apartment in a very quiet part of town, high up and overlooking the town and the Bay of Naples. It was always worth the 15 minute walk up very steep lanes to get from the town centre to the apartment (there's also a bus from the train station to the front gate). The location is great, feels very secure and there's an excellent supermarket next door. There's a good terrace with table and chairs (shady in the morning, suny in the afternoon). Inside, there's also a table and a couple of high stools but not much of a comfy seating area. There's a great little kitchen with everything you need, a very nice bathroom and a bedroom with a large super comfy bed and a massive walk-in wardrobe. Vico Equense is a good town, with several places to eat and drink, and the train station makes travelling very easy (although the trains do not run late in the evening). I very much enjoyed staying here...Carmela is the perfect host, a strong coummincator who makes delicious marmalade from home-grown oranges. Perfect to enjoy at breakfast on the terrace whilst looking out to sea!

the owner was super nice,helpfull, the apartmant was very clean and cozy. the owner cooked a delicious cake for us.

we went to a trip for 3 days at the end of january. we arrived in the evening,inside was very cold. ( I mention here that outside the temperature was around 5-7Celsius and the place from where we came was -2-3 and snow outside). the second day I wrote to the owner about the low temperature and in the evening when we get back to the apartment was a little bit warmer but still cold,and the last day too. ( the first day they give us a heater but wasn’t enough for neither the bedroom) we need it to turn the cooker on during the night.. also another minus is the hot water… we need it to turn on and wait more than a minute..probably the apartmant wasn^t rented for a long period that^s why it was so cold. In conclusion i can not recommend for stay in winter… another minus point was the creaky bed. and the last one is the zone where is located.it is not a separated apartment somewhere single situated.it is located uphill on a mountain so it could be difficult to acces without a car,and it is noisy during the day…

Wonderful place with beautiful view and very nice hosts. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms. Fully worth it.

Incredibly clean, great welcome marmalade, a 15min descend to center on foot, a bit longer to return as it is quite steep. Parking available on the premises. plenty of spices and other essentials to do your cooking. one time we ran out of gas and the owners were super fast with changing it (10min) which is not my usual experience with Italy, so a big thank you again! had a lovely stay and would recommend!!

Could use a new pan as the existing ones have rubbed off teflon and the bed could be a bit more comfortable. however it is just minor improvements which I’m sure the owners are already planning on doing in the future.

Very nice and cozy apartment, very warm, welcoming and helpful hosts, a nice view from above the city, safe free parking, a very well supplied Deco market at no distance. We went to Sorrento and to Napoli by train and the train station is at 20 minutes walk. Of course, when you come back from the train station, it is better to take the bus, because going uphill after a long day would probably take more than 20 minutes. Take Circolare Sinistra bus fron the train station and it leaves you right in front of the apartment. The best beach is the one from Hotel Sporting. You pay 8 Euro/ pers to use the elevator but it is worth the money. And, of course, don't miss Universita della Pizza. We enjoyed every moment in Vico Equense. Hope you will, too!
