Stunning old Georgian manor house with a beautiful spacious windy staircase, very historical feel. Lovely cooked breakfast as well as fresh fruit salad and home made bircher - nice touches! Nice spacious bright bedroom with stunning views over the garden. So quiet and away from any busy roads Janet was a lovely host and very knowledgeable and helpful with local restaurants

My only concern was how long it took for the hot water to come through both tap and shower but understandably in an older house things do take time. Bed was a bit too soft for me as I like a firm mattress

It is a beautiful house and within good distance of lovely places to visit on the west coast. It was extremely clean and well furnished. I slept better there than I have for years. Breakfast was delicious.

Feather pillows and cool cotton. - Perfect location for me: peaceful, great views, nice garden. - A house with character - Walking distance to town centre if you don't mind a good walk, but reasonable for a taxi.

For me it was perfect. If you want a bar and restaurant or want to be in the middle of town, this may not be for you.

So for bed and breakfast you need a comfortable bed that is set away from noisy traffic, a wholesome breakfast so you dont need lunch and pleasant, informative, respectful and good humored staff......TICK, TICK, TICK. Would definitely go back when next in the area
