First time ever we had to pay for parking! When we got there we had no hot water, had to wait for another room

Wonderful Lagoon Location

They charged Rand 30 for parking car for one night.

The friendly staff in the restaurant. They work under difficult conditions with the rude tourist from India. The preparation of their own meals in between the other visitors poses challenges. The "chef" from the group did not behave well - come in between, take many of the products on the buffet menu - such as all bread for his separate table. They kept the chef busy the first morning (16 May)so we had to wait fifteen minutes per guest to be served with eggs. It did not only happen to me but several other guests. ON 17 May they left early and everything was a mess. Breakfast is suppose to start at 6:30 not seven. I know any business needs tourists numbers and visitors but taking your local local tourists and business people into consideration will help and ensure continued support.

My check in - I was send to a room - just to find a room not prepared ( it was 14:50). There was a floor manager in the room packing bags which looks like the bags from the informal traders. I went back to reception late afternoon, while I was in the shower some male tried several times to enter and open my door. I phoned reception they send security - there a man stood with his bags - wrongly checked inn. I again phone security and the senior on duty - requesting to see the manager. She promised he will talk to me the next day - did not happen. Are you safe as a female business traveller if "mistakes " like this are made?

There is no service around the pool.

Loved that there was aircon in the room and the balcony room had a beautiful view but found it was a little overpriced just to have a balcony. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious.

Friendly and good service

Our room was above the generator....that's unacceptable, especially during loadshedding. How is one supposed to sleep. Really no consideration for the guest.

The situation by Knysna Waterfront was perfect and the staff gave exceptional service with, as always, a smile!

Check in very polite, room clean with beautiful view, breakfast well presented with great choice for everyone, delicious :)
