We loved the location of this place and found it had everything we needed in excellent working order.
We didn’t love the additional cost for linen and felt the doona’s were not clean.
Overall it was terrific and would recommend it but bring your own linen.

What a wonderful stay. Everything we needed was on hand. Big pluses Were:-
The proximity to town- short walking distance
Wood fire- easy to light and kept us nice and warm on chilly nights
Comfy couch and Netflix and reliable WIFI to keep the teens happy.
We’ll def be back. Thanks to Noel our host for making it so easy.

Had plenty of room for multiple guests and is close walking to main strip and beach.

The location was great but the stay could have been better....
The emailed code to respond to the host was invalid on each of 6 attempts to respond.
The floors and bathrooms were clean, but the house was pretty dusty. The outdoor areas were not clean.
The TV did not work and we got 2 half empty toilet paper rolls for 5 adults for a 2 night stay.

What a beautiful house to stay in at Lorne… in an amazing spot, short walk to Main Street & beach. We instantly felt at home, had everything we needed, enjoyed bbq breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the tree tops & ocean in the background. Just magical! Noel was so accommodating & lovely to deal with. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we would definitely recommend.

The layout of the house, the location and the view was great. The cleanliness was poor, the linen needs replacing, the bedrooms need fans and the cold water doesnt work on the washing machine.

Good stay. Given time of year could have had more kindling and firewood brought up to house. Linen would have been good to have been provided but we managed to BYO. Very close to shops and main strip. Would definitely stay again.

The perfect holiday house
We absolutely loved our stay and were so pleased with the set up of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very tidy and we felt at home. The fire place was lovely and the spa bath was perfect for the chilly weather.
We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Lorne and it’s in a great location.
The communication with the owners was great and they were really clear with all the information!

Lovely house close to all that Lorne has to offer
Our family of 5 recently stayed at Bel-Air for 5 nights. Apart from the luck of hitting a whole week of perfect weather in late June, the house itself was really great. Plenty of room for all of us, and a great location just a short walk from the main street (although quite steep to get back up the street, the driveway, and the stairs to the front door).
Nice fireplace which we lit every night, Netflix etc...we will definitely stay here again if we have another holiday in the area.

Very clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 5, close to main street and supermarket. Fully equipped kitchen with outdoor BBQ, tea and coffee in kitchen and individual milk capsules in the fridge, ocean view from balcony, easy communication with owner. We enjoyed our stay!

Excellent property
We recently stayed with my sister and her family from the UK. The property is clean, comfortable and very close to all local amenities. The owner also allowing a late check out and early check in. Would highly recommend

A little dated and in need of a clean.
We stayed 2 nights in Lorne and was a little disappointed with the overall cleanliness amd presentation of the Bel Air.
Cob webs in the showers, outdoor table had bird poop and tree litter on it.
Had to make the beds and the linin is all fairly old and some was not as clean as it could have been.
We had to be pretty vigilant in washing anything we used beforehand in the kitchen as most of the glasses and cutlery are pretty grimy.
The first bedroom has a musty smell.
With a spring clean and update this would be an amazing place.
"No steep hills to climb" is a bit of a stretch. My dad who has had a hip replaced found the hill from town and also the very steep driveway and steps difficult.
Apart from the hill the location was amazing!!! It was beautiful out on the balcony looking out over the trees and to the water.
A little spruce and update would do wonders for this place.

Overall it was a nice, comfortable stay.
Aircon for the would be a good addition. Two pillows would have been great per person. These are only constructive come for improvement. Overall a very good product. Thank you!

Great Family getaway acommodation
Spacious apartment/house- for family of varying ages. Comfy beds, generous sized kitchen, living area, bedrooms & bathrooms. Great outdoor living areas with daily visits from beautiful birdlife on verander. Ideal location, in walking distance to shops, restaurants & beach.

Fabulous Place.
The property is in a fantastic location with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It was very clean and well appointed and the kitchen was equipped with everything you would need for a long or short stay. The kids loved the separate rumpus room downstairs and it was great to have free WiFi and Netflix. It has a lovely private aspect with water views. Noel was kind enough to give us a late checkout and can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

Below the usual standard of Stayz
Our first experience was the lack of information provided by The property manager was that no access code was provided. Notwithstanding 4 emails we had to contact Stayz to get the manager to provide this information on the day we were to access the property. No apologies were forthcoming. The property was dirty. We had to hire linen and make our beds. Unfortunately the linen was stained and had to be replaced the following day. The bedding was stained and damaged. The whole house was unclean with spiders and spiders' webs everywhere. There were very little inclusions i.e. coffee, teas, soaps, shampoos, body wash, etc. Having spent the last 3 weeks travelling and staying in Stayz properties this property rates zero and falling.

Lots of stairs
Loved the view, but the cost of that was the stairs. Be aware of this when heading out to the restaurant which are so close by. You need to be sober enough to climb back up them. Nice open living area. Did not find the beds comfortable at all. These things were minor, great spot and really enjoyed the stay.

Unfortunately not as clean as we expected. Found a shoe underneath coffee table which indicated lack of a thorough clean and cobwebs in bathroon. Blind in bedroom inoperable.

We had a lovely time in this extremely well-located unit. Please note that although there is a DVD player, no DVDs are provided but there is a DVD rental kiosk at the Foodworks (phew, we did panic for a moment until we discovered the kiosk).
