Cheap accommodation near to Manchester airport

Being woken up at 1am by someone banging on doors saying he was being chased by people who were inside the building and to call the Police.

Bed was comfortable. room was nice in the attic with a sky window view of the main road. which is nice not too hot in there either which I liked. shower was nice too. Reception staff seemed nice and welcoming.

key stopped working dead on checkout time and sometimes there is nobody on reception. I lost my wedding ring and we checked out late. if I had not been in the room while my husband was taking bags down don’t know how we would have fetched the rest of our belongings. Big no is there is no lift which is not good when your pulling cases up 2 flights of stairs.

This place is pure filth had to be moved room after complaining that the room looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in years to be honest it looked liked it was let out by the hour also stood at the door to the building for si long I had call just to be let in, if you stay I recommend sleeping in your clothes

The member of staff on reception was friendly and accommodating.

We moved rooms because the first was dirty, didn't have hot water and the paint was peeling off the ceilings. The 2nd room wasn't much better. I wasn't expecting a high standard of finish, but at the very least it should have been clean.

One floor towel for 2 people, dirty, no staff from 11pm until 10am, staff were not friendly in the short time they were there, noisy, heating on full in all parts of the hotel. WiFi only in communal areas of which is only the hall. Awful

Some peculiar stains on the bed sheets and walls and floor. The pictures of the room on the website were clearly from years ago and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since. The door to the room was hanging off the hinges, the bathroom flooring was bubbling from not being fitted correctly. The shower fan didn’t work so the ceiling had started to peel and cave in. The facilities listed on the website were not in the room ie lock box, hairdryer. I had to go down and ask reception for a hairdryer and the only one they had were temperamental and only worked sometimes and tripped itself out. The wifi didn’t reach the 3rd floor where my room was. Some of the people were rather sketchy, I was being watched as I arrived by some men smoking from balconies. On my 3rd night 2 girls were smoking a blunt in the open car park. Truly a wonderful stay if you hate all that “nice” stuff and prefer a brothel vibe!

the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. the location is really good. the receptionists were always very welcoming, and they will always try their best to accommodate guests! there is a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge too. i felt safe during my 2 weeks of stay.
