Small and private hotel, run by a friendly couple. The location, the food and the facility was just and even better than what we needed.

The hotel is located just next to the Miyazu pier, and it is a giant elegant Japanese house. There are many tourist attractions within 30 mins of traveling time, the famous Kasamastsu park, Nariaiji temple, Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park, which is 3km/40 minutes sightseeing walk, and the Ine Town, which is famous for the traditional boat house. Don’t forget to grab some sake from local Mukai brewery. We booked a double room with the garden/ocean view on the first floor. The main living/bed room was spacious but the restroom was kind of small for me (165cm/65kg). The shared public bathroom has 4 showers and one small onsen. Lucky us that it was not a high season for visitors, so we got to enjoy the onsen by ourselves. Because the hotel was built with wood materials and the dining area was right above us, it got noisy during dinner and breakfast. By the way, breakfast was included and it was delicious. I will definitely come back if I ever visit this area again.
