las vistas de la habitación daban al canal y muy bonitas, la cafetería de abajo la cual contiene café y algo para picar por la tarde genial, un gran detalle, y una pequeña terracita al canal súper bonita.

lo que menos me gusto es el baño ya q la separación es una puerta de cristal semi trasparente, que no da mucha intimidad. Hay q pagar la tasa turista una vez llegas al hotel y es el 12,5 del precio de hotel…. una exageración pero se q el hotel no tiene la culpa.

Excellent position, with a terrace on the channels on the back of the building! The staff was very kind. The bar looking onto the channel had a free bar every afternoon. Espresso machine in the room.

No elevator. There was an unpleasant smell when we First entered the room.

No lift so if someone has a lot of baggages it will be a challenge to go to the top floors. The windows could barely open so you could not get fresh air on the room The room was very smelly due to the sewers. We could barely stand it. This combined with fact that windows could not open, made the whole staying very unpleasant. The hotel staff however apologised for the situation and were very friendly.

Good location - easy access to central area but not too noisy etc. Happy hour (free) drinks & snacks in afternoon very pleasant way to relax from daytime sightseeing before heading out for evening. Good breakfast buffet and nice egg options made with care.

Very convenient, close to M52 station. The great surprise was free cocktails during 4-8pm at the Terrace of hotel and we enjoyed the good view of the canal.

The location was great

The bed was not comfortable, the room was tiny & there was no fan in room as expected. This made the room uncomfortable warm. We only got one by complaining. We were told on check-in that a fan was missing from room but that there would be one later. The lady at check-in knew this was a lie, they didn't have enough fans for each room and the hotel was fully booked.

Big room and good facility with kettle, hair dryer. Happy hour is from 16h-20h. Good location: near the museum park, tram.

The location was good and the building was really lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The canal outside seating area was really nice. Very peaceful.

No lift but this was all stated in the description so if you are on the top floor you need to be fit to climb those stairs ! Rooms on non canal side were a little noisy as on busy road but it wasn’t all night !

The room was very very hot! If you can afford it, install proper air conditioning instead of air circulation. But otherwise great.

Proximity to museums and tram. Main bed was comfortable.

The sliding door to bathroom would get stuck when trying to exit bathroom. I couldn’t get out and my husband had to open the door from the other side. Second bedroom with twin bed was a bit small. Window in that room wouldn’t stay open and had to be propped up. Nonetheless, we had a good stay at the hotel.

Easy access by metro or tram to city centre. Nice and quiet area with great little cafes close by for breakfast. Easy walk to the markets and quick tram ride to the brewery. Staff super friendly and helpful on where to go and how to get there.

No lift. Spiral stairway to access our room was a bit difficult with the heavier luggage but apparently unavoidable in Amsterdam when staying in a typical mansion converted to a hotel.

Location was excellent and the breakfast was a special treat. Easy walking to wherever we wanted to go. We asked a LOT of questions about the city and we were never made to feel like an inconvenience. Super nice and very very helpful.

I didn't like that the bed faced the room top to bottom so I had to scootch to get in and out of it. It was super comfortable though and the view of the canal was very peaceful. No elevator. We had help getting our luggage up the stairs, but I love an elevator.

The location is very good, in a quiet part of the city but close enough to walk everywhere. The staff were very good and the room very clean.

We knew beforehand,but there is no elevator & the stairs is very steep, it was a good workout getting to the top floor. The bed was two single beds pushed together and they kept dividing apart in the middle, this made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

I’m not so sure if similars hotels would be different, but pouring this as an important thing to have in mind, that this properties has a lot of stairs and no elevator, so it was complicated to carry the baggages through the tiny steps and around 3 floors.

even if we ordered room with double bed, it was only two single beds moved one to another and while sleeping they where moving, also they where really old and squeaking grom every move..

We could hear a lot of noises from the reception and the room next door (we had a room first floor). Fridge was not working (we told the receptionist but it wasn’t fixed). The safe made a lot of noises in the night. Windows were dirty.

This hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, really great for all local attractions. The hotel is also so close to the airport by taxi or car and also convenient by public transport. The staff was very helpful at all times. The room was very clean and comfortable despite being too small and lacking any sitting space. It offered basic refreshments facilities and a minibar which was great. The hotel has no lifts which are ok if you are on a lower floor. The hotel has no air conditioning which for us was a plus as it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and we had lots of extra pillows. The bathroom was of a good size with a shower and good water pressure. We did not try the breakfast but you can smell it all the way from the basement restaurant kitchen. The view was ok too but the only way to enjoy it was to either lie down or stand up as the windows were hexagon shaped and located on 3 levels in the room. Overall pleasing stay and I recommend the location of the hotel.
