Lots of mosquitos

Didn't like much to be honest.

This property (Villa 3) was absolutely not what we expected having seen multiple images of the Villa Massilia properties on social media, their websites and on the Booking.com website. It was not made at all clear that our Villa was not renovated, and we were expecting it to look like what had been shown in the other images, but it definitely did not. It had not been renovated, was quite dingy, dirty in some areas and the kitchen was abysmal - just awful and totally unusable. We arrived, were bitterly disappointed and asked for an immediate refund so we could go elsewhere. The owners would only refund us for three out of five nights, which again, was disappointing, but we accepted it in desperation and left the next morning to another property. The thing that bothered us the most was the fact that they have had other guests with the same issue in feeling totally mislead - the Staff admitted that to us and it was really quite obvious when we were sent images of the Villa three hours before check in (on the day of check in). That raised suspicions, but we were too busy to properly look at the images and realise we were not staying in a renovated Villa as advertised. I see that they have started to be clearer with their communication on social media and their website about the as yet unrenovated Villa 3, but unfortunately we got caught out by their misleading behaviour. We were so upset - we had to move with four small children under the age of four and it was stressful to say the least. It very nearly ruined our family holiday as we had so been looking forward to staying there. Adding to all of that, we didn't get a full refund which also left us out of pocket quite significantly. Really really unhappy experience.

Our family loved this charming 3 bedroom villa in Seminyak area. It was not yet renovated like the other two villas but still very tidy and a great value for the area. It was only a short walk to the beach and many family-friendly cafes and restaurants. Would recommend!
