Fantastic central location and two mins to the beach. Not as noisy from the pub as I expected as the rooms are two floors above. Clean sheets and fluffy towels, comfortable beds, own shower, good value, coffee and biscuits, and helpful and kind staff :)

TV is tricky to use. Check the aerial is in, and use Source to set to D(digital)TV. Shared toilets are a pain but not a dealbreaker. There’s noise from a generator outside that can be annoying at night for sensitive sleepers.

Staff helpful. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Well situated for seafront ,town and railway station. Room was quite even though pub was very busy and noisy

Paid extra for en suite be t shower was very weak. Damp behind sofa. Curtains needed fitting properly. Paint on ceiling of en suite starting to peel and mastic at back of sink has gone black. Nothing major just a lot of minor things that need looking at.

No breakfast no wardrobe to put your cloths away lots of stairs to climb .to get to the room no toilet in the room . The land Lord was not very helpful . Will not be going back hear again . Two very dissatisfied people

The lovely staff at The Tides Inn are amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay been there 2 times and have planned our 3rd trip already for this year 2023. They allow you to take takeout food into the bar and eat there. They care so much about their people it feels like home.

The staff where friendly. And considering we were situated on the top of a busy pub on a Saturday night it was quieter than expected in the room.the room was nice and clean and overall it was a pleasent stay with comfortable beds.

The shower in the family room is just a glass shower cubical in the corner of the room with no privacy. Could do will having a wall or something put up and the pressure in the shower was too low. Nothing we couldnt manage to work around though.

Staff were very nice and helpful, the location was amazing, access to a lot of places and only in walking distance, room was very clean and tidy, overall an okay stay, I liked that we had our own toilet.

There was no pressure on the shower, the mattress was bigger than the bed frames, curtains were falling off it’s hinges.

Great place...!!!! Very friendly staff and owner... Nothing too much trouble 🤩 Central to everything.... Good enjoyable music events ... Cant wait to return...☺️

The room stunk of cigarette smoke coming from within the building it was choaking at times had to go and buy some air freshner, Did not use bar as did not look welcoming,

only small gripes was that we couldn’t get tv to work and although the shower was lovely and warm it was only on half flow.

No greeting as we walked in; the woman just said you have to pay £20 more on arrival. They had plenty of opportunity to email me and let me know this and I personally messaged to say my daughter and two dogs would be staying but they decided to still charge extra. The music from the bar downstairs was rather loud. The light in our bathroom didn’t work; not ideal when there was no window so basically you were in pitch darkness. They sent someone up who advised us this light couldn’t be fixed for two days (handy that as we are only here two days). No safety catch on the window meaning the upstairs windows can be fully opened. Extension leads plugged in and coiled up, Wi-Fi code in the book was incorrect. This place is ideal for a hen or stag do but not really functional for a family and for the cost you can get a room with breakfast provided. For this price, you would expect basic facilities such as lighting to be fully operational and also a problem brought to their attention to be addressed immediately.
