Great staff, wonderful place, quiet and very close to a big mall and many restaurants

I have become a regular at this place. The staff is wonderful, ever so helpful. Great location. Beautiful property. The lighting in the rooms is much better- I usually stay here the night before exam/ lecturer.

The house itself is warm but I felt a bit cold in my room. The wall heater is not so effective in my view. I get the energy management issue but for a person who drinks a lot of tea/coffee it does get too much to have to leave the comfort of my room to go get hot water

Breakfast was excellent, really great location. The staff are really friendly and very helpful they are a real asset to this business.

The hostess Zanele was a lovely lady who made us feel at home the moment we got there. She was so warm and friendly. The breakfast was also delicious and fresh!

The space was just beautiful. Behind the gate, it felt like I had entered another world. The lounge space was so homely and tastefully decorated, it was warm and welcoming. The fireplace and heater added a special touch in one of the coldest weeks. The smell of baking really made it feel like a home away from home. The room was well equipped and was spacious. It was at the back giving me privacy but not isolated. I have found my go to place in Johannesburg.

Understandably due to load shedding, the electric blankets and wall heaters had to be off. I was very cold on some of the nights.

The entire hospitality was excellent. Staff was extremely friendly. Quiet environment and nice area.
