when we arrived by car it was confusing how to check in where to park.

Comfortable, clean and modern hotel located 2 mins from Playa del Poniente beach and 10 mins from the city centre. Secure parking for €10 extra. Friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast options at the cafe were just croissants and pastries - no low carb/healthy options

Location is fine, we were able to walk easily to the main area of Gijon. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The cafe next door was good for a quick coffee and simple breakfast. Free parking is hard to find, we moved our car a few times during our stay to be closer, if you're lucky enough to find a spot in the carpark opposite, it's not too far to walk from the hotel.

The bed was extremely small, uncomfortable and noisy

Staff were very friendly, Reserved parking OK, tight entry but staff person guided us at the entrance. Room was basic, however served our short term needs, over two days (get what you pay for). Very clean. Location required a short walk into town or along the sea-side which was pleasant.

No air conditioning which made it uncomfortable especially at this time of the year and the fact we were on the road side of the hotel... we could not leave window/door open for the noise.

Accomodation was clean and tidy, staff was nice and friendly. I appreciate that rooms are cleaned every day. Location is also nice. Hotel is realy close to the beach and in a walking distance to the city center.

Severel issues which have affected the review: - bed (double bed) was extremely short and narrow. Do not expect comfort if you order double bed room. - there was no laundry service, although according to Booking info it shoould be there for a fee. - wifi was not working for the majority of our stay. We contacted the reception and they tried to restart it. Well - it did not help. Hotel did not provide any kind of compensation or at least an apology. I would expect that for the price functioning wifi should be standard!

The location is perfect, just off the beach and near to the restaurants and town centre. We just needed somewhere for one night, in town and this fitted exactly. Rooms are a bit basic as is the hotel.

Took ages to check in, no one seemed to be able to do the paperwork. Hotel very basic but adequate.

Bar and ground floor terrace open to 2.00 am. Very noisy until 03.30, disturbed sleep all night.
