Beautiful old majestic hotel perfectly situated at the front door of the train station. Fantastic views over Lake Geneva and easy walking distance to the lake. Extremely friendly staff and lovely comfortable room with l’ocittaine products and large soft fluffy towels. Also had bathrobes and slippers available - all great finishing touches.

The shower/bath, whoever designed this needs to go back to school. The shower and taps were all squeezed in to the end, couldn’t turn around without hitting your leg on the spout or standing on the plug. Truly disgraceful

Check in person was incompetent she insisted the room was not prepaid so she embarrassed me in front of my friends -julie next receptionist saved the day she found the correct document and refunded

Location was fab. Went for Freddie Mercury celebration. Close to market, casino, and all the fab stuff and our room had lake view too. Right opposite station exits too. Couldn’t ask for more

The hotel is situated just in front of the railway station , so very easy to go around the areas by train . In addition the hotel serves delicious food ! There are so many choices at breakfast too.

Washrooms were hidden in the basement so for those with mobility problems this was an issue

Perfect location: across the road from the railway station, and with a fabulous view over Lac Leman and mountains. Also it overlooked the gardens and lakeside promenade, so it was easy to have a very pleasant walk.

Fabulous location just a few steps from the Montreux train station. Hotel is on the top of a cliff overlooking the city and the lake below providing postage-card views.

The only things we didn't like were the bath tub because it was difficult to get in and out of plus the restrictive hours in the hotel restaurant.

the beds could have been better : we had 2 singles which almost seemed like extra beds and were very light

Breakfast was very ordinary. Not a lot of choice for things that I usually enjoy ie granola , Greek, nice plain yoghurt , berries. No option of omelettes

The lake view from the room was great. Beautiful sunset. The room was nice and the facilities are great. Very nice service at the restaurant and great breakfast.

You can hear easily what is happening in the other rooms, it can be disturbing and with little privacy. The bathtub was very tiny to take a shower. Other than that it is a nice hotel.
