The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a wide variety of food, frequently replenished. Plus the view at breakfast was beautiful.

this property is in need of a revamp, out of date and old fashioned. Lacking in any modern touches. good location near to city centre but need transport.

Bit pricy. Connection to restaurants was difficult. Min 20min Walk through small streets without light.

The house had an interesting history. The hosts were extremely obliging booking restaurants and taxis for us. The breakfasts were delicious and being served in the garden was delightful. The swimming pool was large and and set within a very large olive grove with an abundance of seating and shade. Our bedroom was large and nicely furnished with a large terrace with views over the Tuscan hills. Location was rural and peaceful but within 15 minutes of Florence by taxi.

It is a perfect located if you prefer a relaxing place near Florence, the bus stop is 15 min to walk away and you can buy bus ticket from them, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the city by bus. You can see the sunset from the garden, next to the swimming pool, it is amazing. Breakfast is also very well, they provide buffet breakfast with own baked sweet party.

The house is gorgeous and very representative of a Tuscan experience. the pool and outdoor seating areas are gorgeous

The rooms require a little upgrade and while I understand that there are so many bugs in nature, the room was full of ants.

Very nice place set in a historical building in the Chianti Valley. Room was very big and comfortable. Bathroom big but the shower is a bit small and dated. Staff kind, breakfast ok, not buffet (need to ask the waiter), a bit lacking on the savoury side (neither eggs nor bacon). Ample parking.

Just finished our second visit to this wonderful hotel and our experience was just as great as first (in 2015). The hospitality and accommodations are superb and the value is unbeatable. It’s the best of both options for aFlorentine/Tuscany stay. The historic place, grounds and vista are exceptionally charming, quiet and beautiful. The rooms are generously sized and well appointed with large, fully equipped private bathrooms, graceful furnishings, a generously sized, comfortable bed and wonderful views of the grounds and Tuscany countryside. Paris generous and on-site with an easy walk to public transportation that will deliver you the two miles to Florence Roman gates (or an easy drive to paid parking at city historic gates). If you plan to include a drive through Tuscany for wine tasting or excursion to Pisa, this hotel is easy access to the interstate. The key, though, is the hospitality, which is top notch in my books. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and work hard to ensure you can quickly unwind and enjoy the beauty of this area. Small touches like tea/coffee and well stocked (and reasonably priced) mini fridge with local wine and beer, plus a nice breakfast add to the enjoyable visit. We plan to return to Florence often and this will be our ‘go to’ place! Highly recommend!

We highly recommend this place to stay! Our room was beautiful and comfy! We had an unexpected problem with our car and it wasn’t sure the trip can happen. We contacted the hotel if there is a possibility to check-in a day later and stay one day longer. Everyone was helpful and tried to do their best to accomodate us in a way which is best for us. The flexibility and kindness from the staff is remarkable. The pool was nice and clean and the Toscan landscape is just breathtaking. We will be back for sure!

Everything Perfect location, only 10’ by car to Florence center, but you live in a beautiful countryside with a large swimming pool. Rooms are magnificent and quite large. Breakfast in the garden is top notch.
