The location is excellent. The rooms are up above a traditional pub but it is much more like walking into a hotel setting once you get to the room area.

Parking was a bit tight, but could be found.

The mattress was lumpy and a bit uncomfortable. There was a smell of Weed coming up from the back when we opened the windows. We ate in the restaurant one night and no one asked for our covid cert.

Very nice place to stay in Kenmare. Great location in the heart of the village. The room was very spacious and clean, and had great facilities. Breakfast was an option but we did not opt for it. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a short time stay in Kenmare.

Food was fine but would have been nice to finish without having to move tables

Hotel was fine up to the point when we were coming to the end of our meal. The manager/Siobhan seated a couple to a table right next to us with absolutely no regard for Government imposed Covid restrictions which state tables in bars/ restauarants must be a minimum one metre distance from each other. Sadly this was not the case in this bar/restaurant. The distance of the table was less than 1/2 metre from our table. Almost elbow to elbow. It simply is not good enough in these Covid times that the person responsible for seating in this establishment Siobhan had absolutely no regard for the Covid rules or the welfare of any of her clients. There was another free table in adjacent bar area where this couple could have been seated and which we moved to in order to ask for bill and point out to Siobhan our discomfort and dismay at disregard for Covid restrictions on the 3rd day of reopening for indoor dining. Siobhan didn't think we would be upset by this but I reminded her it was her responsibility to implement the Covid restrictions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of her clients. The bottom line is this lax attutide 3 days in from reopening taken by this establishment is not acceptable in these times.. Hence the bad review.
