We had a lovely overnight stay in the druids cottage. Our room was very clean and comfortable room and we were warmly welcomed by Phillip who gave us some excellent dining recommendations in the local village. The BnB is perfect for an overnight stay within walking distance to kenmare village, and driving distance to Killarney and west cork area.

Das Druid Cottage hat unglaublich viel Charme. Das beginnt mit den Gastgebern und setzt sich fort in dem lichtdurchfluteten Frühstückspavillon. Das Zimmer war klein und kuschelig. und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Beispielhaft sei hier ein kleines Wand-Schränkchen erwähnt, das einen Wasserkocher und zwei Teetassen barg. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, man konnte es schon am Vorabend auswählen. Mit zum Inventar gehört die Hauskatze "Oreo", ein schmusiger Kater, den wir sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben.

I loved the home. I loved my fellow guests. I loved the comfort, cleanliness, and conveniences of the accomodations, the black pudding, orange juice and strong French press coffee for breakfast, but what I loved most were my hosts. Phillip and his wife took amazing care of me over my 4 night stay. I'd had a fun night my first day in town and spent the whole next day recovering. They were very kind to me and we spent the remainder of my time joking about my shenanigans. I really appreciated their sense of humor and tolerance of a silly solo traveler.

Everything was amazing. The only complaint I can come up with is the tight fit of the large key tag when locking/unlocking the room door. Twas a bit awkward. I did read from other reviews prior to my stay that the walk into town was a bit far, but that suited me well. As a solo woman the 15 minute walk was pleasant and safe, even late at night. I prefer a bit of a slower pace from being out of the main hub, but if you're wanting to be in the thick of it, consider the walk is about 10/15 minutes.

Edge of town walking convenience with personally selected hot breakfast. Parking, multicultural conversation - what could be better?!

Bed was comfortable

Was told breakfast was from 9:15-11:15 went down at 10 am for my breakfast to be very abruptly told the cook was gone home, so was left with no breakfast and full cost had to be paid, staff were rude and was practically hunted out after being told there was no breakfast. Will not be returning nor will any biker in Munster.

Breakfast was nice

The stairs was steep, winding and no proper hand rail. The tv was antiquated and when I say tiny it was tiny
