The breakfast included in the package was really very, very good as was the evening meal that we elected to take. The meals were generous, prepared to a high standard and there was very kind consideration for one of our group who had coeliac dietary needs. The option for purchase of drinks in house was also well received at friendly prices.

It was a big spacious Room, nice Bed, Kitchen area and big bathroom. Everything was clean. There was a fridge and an outdoor dining area with a grill. It was very clean and everything was perfectly prepared (we booked 1 hour before we arrived and it was already late afternoon) - we got recommodations for vegetarian food nearby, the breakfast was absolutely fine and suitable for vegetarians (they even changed a few things for my husband with allergies); The Host was super sweet and very friendly

Lovely location excellent location, very private and peaceful. Loved the orchard.and the cows were great,bunny's running round,great country vibe,unfortunately I didn't get to have the breakfast due to emergency but would of loved to.

Gorgeou6little retreat just outside Whangarei. Great waking up and looking through the window and seeing the animals and the sounds of hundreds of birds. Very stylish room with very comfortable bed

Unfortunately we found a pubic hair in between the pillows on the sheet of our bed.Which was a bit of putting. There was a old glass water bottle with algae. We tried to use the air conditioner & it didn’t cool down our room at all , vents need to be cleaned .As our room was upstairs upstairs it was very 🥵 hot. The idea of a peaceful place didn’t quite happen on Friday afternoon was disrupted by weed eater & lawn mower going for some time. Some dusting especially on the carving above bed & ceiling fan wouldn’t go amiss & the feature of lying in bed star gazing didn’t happen as the windows were gunky .

Simply outstanding experience. Very spacious accommodation. Wonderful hospitality. The breafast was amazing as was the evening meal. We were very impressed and will find it hard if we have to resort to more standard accommodation in the future where ever we travel. Thanks heaps Andy & Karen.

I liked that it was clean and that it had an on-site, nice and relaxing after putting my grandson to sleep also like the fact I was excepted when I got there cause they don't really have children and that the owner came out to help me when needed, nice and quite

Breakfast was ok just too much, only ordered 1 cooked breakfast instead got 2, tried to eat it all but couldn't, don't like wasting food. Noisey neighbour's, in the other unit especially early morning

The breakfast was scrumptious, plenty, healthy, and delivered on time. The check in process was easy, and the facilities were amazing. Loved the shower, the bed, the lights, the heating, and the rural feel.

I am a 2 Hatted Chef de Cuisine by trade, believe me, that was one hell of a breakfast. A highlight for me of my stay. Beautifully cooked omelet, like an actual proper folded French omelet, toast, and we're not talking crap generic brand toast either, but good quality toast. There were spreads, a lovely granola, freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit. It was the works, and it was a hell of a lot better than your usual breakfasts at most hotels. As a chef, I appreciate the attention to detail and effort not to be generic. Oh and I asked for my breakfast at a specific time and it arrived exactly at that time. Spot on. Room was really spacious, warm with a great Heat Pump, clean, quiet and a good comfy bed for a good nights sleep. Another Highlight was the Shower, seriously it was like a fire Hose, really, really good pressure. I love a good shower. Nice waking up to the birds in the morning. Taking Covid seriously, contactless payment, delivery of breakfast and sanitizer in the room for my convenience, face mask on staff, these people do it right and do it well. Some many good things to say.

The location was lovely, it was quiet and the outlook was great.

I booked a late one and as able to have a great place to lay my head for the night. The host with the most was super friendly even though I knocked on the door late and he hadn't seen my booking as I had booked half and hour to my arrival but he greeted me friendly and was communicative. I loved the space, so beautiful. Skylights are amazing!

If there was to be an improvement maybe to sit the kettle etc on a higher bench? Oooohhh and can we have a bath please! lolol
