Location was good as there were a number of food places close by, and i headed north from there to the occasion I was attending.

The hotel hallways need a carpet clean. The bathrooms need an upgrade in the rooms where you have your own. There was no breakfast available and if there was i wasn't told ,plus only bar snacks no dinner menu.

For the price it was OK and sufficed for the one night. The rooms were a good size & clean, the beds were reasonably comfortable, the showers were ok. This property has the potential to be gorgeous. Would I stay here again? Only if I absolutely needed to but possibly not.

There was a very loud domestic going on next door to our room with door slamming and lots of shouting, not that this was the hotels fault but it was disconcerting. We didn't like that the bedside wall lights were broken and hanging off the wall. We were not comfortable having to check into the hotel via the bar. The kitchen was very small with lack of facilities, no teabags, minimal coffee, milk etc. lack of eating utensils.

Basic but huge value. Quiet and convenient Netflix in the room

The staff wasn’t very useful. Asked for milk to have a hot drink on arrival, didn’t get it. The water in shower was cold & the shower tray was dirty & blocked 😤

I booked this room for my friend, who had a lovely time and felt very welcomed and cared for. He met great people, which added to an enjoyable weekend stay

The Television in the room didn't receive any TVNZ channels. The shared cupboard for making Tea Coffee and breakfast was tiny and didn't have nearly enough crockery and cutlery

Location great, local pub ok liquor store next door, good music pool tables downstairs, lots of local takeaways shower in the room was okay

The mold in the room all over roof skirtings, lights and switches hanging out of wall safety issue, no bedding don’t forget your blankets, window required repair in the bathroom THE FACT that the RESTAURANT wasn’t open as was looking forward to eating here

The photos on the website don't show the true state of the property. Most of the building is empty except the bar area. Rooms are dated and not that clean. The shared bathrooms are dated and needed a good clean. Please don't stay here and book a motel instead.
