Great pool and breakfast! The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. They have a padel field in good condition (a bit far away, like a 10 min walk)

Well, the floor made of cork is very cool, but the bathroom was a mess. The tennis field was very sloppy on maintenance. That's great that they have a bathroom near the pool but it doesn't lock. Also, they use those bathrooms as a warehouse, storing machines, boxes and chemical products for the pool, all unprotected from the kids.

The staff was amazing. I had a small issue and they have accommodated my ask with no problems. The room was spacious. The pool area although very minimalist was ok. Service was pleasant. The design of the hotel overall is stunning.

The room was spacious but the bathroom was terrible. The shower cubicle is small, with poor design. There was a window/door with frosted glass but not entirely private. We could see from the outside, yes we tested it. The pool area does not have enough shade. There was some nice idea with some beds under the the trees but the mattresses on them are thin and of poor quality. The dinner menu is fixed and the same through a period. We have stayed 3 nights and the menu did not change. I found the menu quite disappointing. Considering the hotel is in one of the Portuguese areas for best food, the menu has pasta and risotto… granted with some Alentejo traditional meats but still. The breakfast is very basic but pleasant. The path from the car park to reception needs to be improved so guests can get their bags easily to the hotel. It’s stony and full of dust so our bags were filthy. There are cats around so if you don’t like cats or have an allergy please be aware. It’s such a beautiful hotel needs to to be taken care of with focus on quality and guest experience.

Open bathroom Services - not 4 star services

Room warms up too much. Extremely damp. AC screeches quite a bit. Too much light in the room when sleeping. Not possible to sleep in total darkness. Breakfast not so good.

Stunning hotel, beautiful interior and exterior. The location is a dream. Breakfast was a delight. Great service, eggs, coffee and cheese/ham was all done individually, which is wonderful.

Breakfast was good. We did the on site dinner as well and it was good. Views on the country side are beautiful.

I did not like the smell in the bedroom. It was a cleaning product smell.

If I had to point out 1 think would be the noise made by maintenance team, but it's understandable...it must happen for the hotel to deliver it's amazing standards.

The location and the architecture. The peace and quiet. Excellent food and good value for money. This helped to save our short stay.

Poor water pressure in bathroom. Cheap uncomfortable plastic toilet seat. Small indoor public area. Staff need more training .

Room size and view

There was a very loud noise in our room 1) we called reception and the first person said he didn't know what it was 2) we called back saying we weren't going to stay there and after all, they already knew it was the solar panels on the ceiling but that they could only be turned off after a few hours 3) we asked for a new room and there was no availability and they shut down the solar panels 4) the next day we asked to speak with the owner. the manager said that the owner was not there and apologizes saying that they only knew about the problem two days ago 5) 20 minutes later we met the owner on our morning walk who says that the problem has existed since they opened 8 years ago. Terrible experience with communication, service, and transparency. Also - the bed and sheets could be much better.

The staff is exceptional and the food is amazing.

Great place to relax and enjoy nature

Breakfast is very good, with fresh pastry and baked items oredered from kitchen. Staff is very friendly and welcoming handling guest with extreme care. The concept of having each room as an independent howse and all the surrounding well cared nature are truly inspiring.

There was only one glass for water, even though the booking was made for 2 persons. I am not very found of the concept of semi open bath room, however, the view and the available space compensate for it.

Elegant, beautiful, and relaxing place surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with a nice mountain view. Breakfast is fantastic, with plenty of choices to choose from (pastries, charcuterie, drinks, fresh fruits, dairy...), all prepared and served by friendly staff. Dinner quality is also very good and served in a romantic and stylish ambiance. Staff also advised us where to go cycling nearby, and we had a nice experience on 2 wheels enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenic area.
