We had a great week at this property. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great. Perfectly situated in the middle between a walk to the beach and a walk to the shops. Diane was very responsive and great to work with. One thing to know is that while you do have your own private living space, you share the driveway and the garage with the 2nd floor renters. Not a big deal but there was a little coordination required with the other renters to move cars around that we didn’t expect. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Comfortable, clean, well stocked! The location was great, you can walk to the beach as well as the Main Street with the restaurants and shopping. Diane was the best host. Very easy to reach and quick to respond. We would love to stay again on our next visit to San Clemente.

Diane is highly responsive and cares very well for her property and guests. The bed is excellent. The subtraction is for the dim lighting and the profusion of ants in the kitchen, bathroom and sometimes in the bedroom. These matters are fixable.

This is our second visit to Diane's home and, as expected, it was lovely. The home is well-furnished and clean. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet so sleeping is a dream. The kitchen is fully furnished and there are lots of dishes, pots and pans and a full-sized coffee maker. Restaurants in San Clemente are plentiful so you may not eat at home much! It is an easy, though steep, walk to the beach but the host has provided everything you will need to have a great time on the sand. There is even a wagon with big, knobby tires to help you get all the toys to the beach. My family and I are already looking forward to our next visit to Diane's house.

This home had everything you could need to enjoy time at the beach. Great outdoor space as well to enjoy the weather.

The property was great. My boys enjoyed the ping pong table. So close to the beach, dining & stores.

This unit was well equipped with full kitchen and bath supplies including a few condiments (left behind from past tenants) and ziplock bags foil etc. coffee some cooking spices etc. shower gel as well. The location and amenities were awesome! There was also tons of beach gear, lots of boogie boards, chairs, wagons, even ice chests (all of which I didn't realize was there and we would have left ours at home.) The garage is made into a fun rec room so ping pong tournaments were had each night. The shared parking ended up working out just fine and neighboring tenants were great! I don't see well so the only 2 things I would say that were difficult for maybe me on a personal level was that the lights were dim and it was hard for me to see at night in the kitchen and back bedroom. And the wifi was great but didn't really work too well in the back bedroom for streaming the computer to watch TV...But those 2 things would not keep me from giving the host and property a great recommendation....Also nicely decorated as well and nice improvements with the front patio and interior renos as well! Loved all the charm of the property. Diane was great and extremely available upon arrival and would have been throughout if we needed her but we got into the groove of our vacation and all was good! First time in a while my family came away with all positive feedback when we got home! Thank you!!

Diane was wonderful to work with. She always replied quickly to the few questions we had. The property was perfect for our family of 5. Enough room for all of us and walking distance to the beach. I love San Clemente and Diane’s home allowed us to really experience it all. My whole family agreed it was the best beach trip we’ve done so far. We will definitely return again. Thanks Diane!

Our family came out for Laguna College of Art and Design's open house. It was a very nice lower unit with a beautiful front patio. We enjoyed kicking back and sitting out there after a day of hiking in the Laguna canyon. The one thing that worked out well for us was that the king sized bed could be made into twin beds for our sons. The other thing that was great is that it is within walking distance to the beach! It was a very enjoyable stay, in a beautiful location, and Diane was great with answering our questions and meeting our needs.

This property & location is amazing! Our place was spacious & we had everything we needed, including a great deck. We loved being able to use the ping pong table & foosball & all of the beach chairs, boogie boards & sand toys! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone & Diane was so responsive & easy to contact!

We loved staying here while visiting family in San Clemente. The property has everything you could need and is a great location for beach walks and restaurants. Diane was readily available if we had questions or needed anything. We will be back.

Our host was very attentive and responded to our (very few ) questions immediately. The neighborhood was quieter than we expected, parking was never a problem , and the location allows great beach access, close to Old San Clemente and easy access to the freeway.

Great location. Easy access to beach and all local restaurants. Parking can be a challenge if you have more than one vehicle.

Everything was organized and ready for us when we got there. The location was a close walk to the downtown and the beach. The property had great beach toys and chairs to use as well.

The house is cute and well laid out. Not far from the beach - it's a little walk with several large inclines. The beach itself is quite nice. You will share a driveway with the upstairs folks - worked out for us but needs coordination. Lots of really nice beach equipment and both foosball and ping pong in the garage!!!

We decided to try out San Clemente for the first time and Diane’s house was the perfect home base! Spacious, updated, clean and very well cared for home. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook and there were plenty of spices, condiments available. Plenty of bath and beach towels, so you’re not doing laundry after just a few days. Large and comfortable front patio for happy hour or morning coffee and all meals - stayed in the bottom unit so no ocean view but it was perfect nonetheless. Detached garage is loaded with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas - really anything you need. Plus ping pong table and foosball. Two notes: There’s a long driveway for both units but it’s piggy back parking (not side by side) so you should plan on meeting your neighbor to exchange numbers so one person doesn’t block the other. There is street parking but you can’t count on that. It worked out fine for us with just a little extra planning. Also the house is a short walk to the beach, as described - maybe about 5-10 minutes, - but we drove and parked in one of the paid parking lots. The neighborhood is very hilly and carrying chairs, boogie boards, etc would have been tough. Never had a problem getting parking. Diane was very communicative during the entire trip. We will absolutely stay again.

We traveled from Austin Texas with our family and when we arrived everything was amazing. So many beach toys for our kids, the walk to the beach was so close. We will be back next year. Thank you Diane 😊

Diane's home truly feels like a home. She's thought of everything: plenty of towels, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, well-appointed bathrooms, plenty of off-street parking and even a live orchid on the coffee table. My 84 year-old mother said that this is the nicest rental home she's ever stayed in and she's a world traveller. We will definitely be back!

We stayed with 2 other couples & loved every minute! It’s a 10 min walk to the beach & this property offers a great location, friendly neighbors & a lovely patio area. Diane had extra boogie boards, chairs and kites for beach activities & makes sure that you are well taken care of!

The home is exactly as pictured and was a lovey place to stay for our 5 day get away. We toured colleges in Southern California and this was a great location for us to visit San Diego State, UCLA, USC and UCIrvine. Diane is beyond excellent as a Hostess - whenever I had a question she was very quick to respond. If you are considering this house for your get away - I highly recommend it. We will be back. Family of 4 including two teenage daughters. Beach location was perfect!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. We usually rent a place on West Escalonies St but it was booked so we rented Diane's house. Glad we did. I wanted a nice deck to sit out and enjoy our family time together and a house that was within walking distance to the beach. Diane's house is very clean and updated and has all the essentials you need for your stay. We will definitely consider renting this house again in the future.

We had such a lovely vacation here! Getting to the beach was super easy and quick! Our stay was comfortable. The neighborhood was perfect. Our young kids had a blast!
