One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. The level of professionalism and hospitality from the staff really made our stay that extra bit better.

The property is lovely and very nicely located
On arrival we were asked if we would like to benefit from an upgrade - we said ooh yes please (as when offered before it was always complementary) then after 30 mins wait we were told it’s £1000 extra a night !!! It was a deal and the man bartered that basically our room at 650 Swiss francs was a bit rubbish! We needless to say didn’t upgrade but we’re annoyed as we were for 30
Mins left to believe our upgrade was complementary and then made to feel a little second class !

I had horrible experience with one of the staff who talked to me in a rude way! I think you have to be carful with choosing the staff members in the future!
And to be honest it is not as luxurious as I thought! It was OK but doesn’t worth the price at all!

Upgraded to a lovely, spacious and very well equipped room. Staff were all delightful: friendly and helpful.
Great dinner in Montreux Jazz cafe in hotel but …. For some strange reason the nice waiter tried to memorise our order rather than write it down resulting in him forgetting the wine once and the water twice!

Initially we were given a lower grade of room to the one we had booked and after complaining we were "upgraded"! Lols
The kitchen seemed to struggle at every meal. Our Christmas dinner was a set menu, and we had one of the worst restaurant experiences at this place. The food was cold, tasteless and overpriced. The service was incredibly slow, so much so that we were the last table in the restaurant for a while. My party of 12 including kids abandoned dinner half way through.

This is not called a Palace for no reason, from an enormous beautifully decorated Christmas tree, extravagant reception and entrance to the amazing breathtaking view of lake Geneva from the room, this hotel really made one feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. It does come with a hefty price but it is truly breathtaking and really memorable!
