The owners and staff were very friendly and very accommodating to any of our requests.

Small room felt like a cell

The rooms were clean and the location was good with free parking outside.

The staff were quite a little rude, they often interjected into our conversations meaning we ended up all sitting in silence as it was just uncomfortable. I am sure some guests like to talk to the hosts a lot but I had not seen my family in a long time and I just wanted to catch up but the hosts were just listening to our private conversations. They also made fun of me for not being able to turn the shower on despite the fact they had the isolator turned off in the rooms so when you turn the shower on, nothing happens, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect the shower to work when you turn it on and a polite instruction would have been fine instead of being treated like I was stupid for making a mistake (why would the isolators be turned off anyway?). Generally, they made our otherwise pleasant stay quite uncomfortable and awkward as we felt like we had to avoid the staff or else they would start getting involved in personal conversations.

The bedroom was spacious , well furnished especially with basket arm chairs. Meura , the hostess landlady was very personable , interesting and helpful. Given that we left on Sunday morning and rather late ,we appreciated the flexibility shown to us.

Breakfast was perhaps a bit mixed in quality. Perhaps this was partly due to us having it rather late . But the fried eggs were a bit disappointing with yolks on the harder side but bacon was of good quality . Perhaps a greater variety of fruit and better quality yoghurts could be considered.

The room was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. The lady that greeted us was very helpful and lovely
