Lovely spot, amazing host. Definitely recommend.

The owners are really incredible, they were awaiting us until 11PM when we arrived from Keflavik. The house is very warm, with a kitchen with all you need to have a dinner o breakfast. You also have a nice living room and a very clean bathroom. The room was quite big and we slept very well. The house is in the middle of the town. This is a very good place to stay with your family or a friend. Thank you again.

it was a great time staying this property and the town . The host couple were really friendly and proactively shared all the information about the town and tourist attractions near by .. Also the property was very well maintained and perfectly organised.. we were very glad that we picked this property for our stay .

The location is perfect, close to the sea in the quite corner of the town. The hosts are very helpful and nice. The house has everything that you need, kitchen is good equipped.

definitely one of the best guesthouses in iceland. just two sleeping rooms, so not crowded with guests, and an entire apartment at the guest's disposal !! huge bathroom, entrance and living room, extra furnished kitchen, even a washing machine is available in the cellar and bicycles. All very clean and neat. The hosts, cherry on top of the sweet cake, exquisite persons, very helpful and extra nice. We were sad to leave the house.

Very warm welcoming by the owners, they explained what kind of attractions we can find near by. Big cozy room, the house is fully equipped... access to the kitchen, laundry room, parking lot. You can rent a bicycles for free. Great location... close to the lighthouse, promenade.

maybe I would suggest to change for a bit bigger bed

The location suited us very well as it was just a short and beautiful drive up the coast from the capital.

It was a little difficult to find among all the small streets and even the local people were unaware of its location. Not many good restaurants in the vicinity,

This was in a nice location with some short local walks. We desperately need to do laundry, and this was one of the few states that offered laundry facilities. we were warmly greeted by the hosts. The kitchen was perfectly clean and well stocked. There were two separate eating areas.

Definitely one of our favorit nights in Iceland! A very nice room/flat with a lot of space, a cozy livingroom, a kitchen with everything you need and a lovely garden. Also our 5-year-old loves it because of the many child friendly details. Thanks a lot, we really enjoyed it!

The hosts were really helpful trying to get us all interesting information about the city and other attractions around. Room was spacious with a lot of hangers (good for drying wet clothes), well equiped kitchen, laundry machine, ...

The mattress was quite soft for my back.

check-in and out were as smooth as they can be. The kitchen is fully equipped and it is only shared with another room. Homeowners are very friendly. The facilities were all very clean and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of complimentary stuff in the kitchen. Amazing, amazing place I can't recommend enough.

Absolutely no negative aspects.

We had to arrive late at night. Probbably only option for us to get in was Teigur Guesthouse. The information from the owners was clear and we could arrive well and enter the property. Perfectly clean! I loved that. The hosts even left us a breakfast product in the fridge. What a hospitality! If I could rate my experience at Teigur Guesthouse I would go for 11/10. Thank you!

We got use of an entire apartment for less than the price of a typical hotel room.

The owners are so kind! I booked this late and they were still waiting for me and greeted me with a warm welcome. They provided excellent recommendations for sight-seeing. The apt. was cozy and very comfortable.

Personal introduction by both owners. Extra breakfast items in fridge/freezer. Very clean. Place to ourselves due to COVID-19. Large Garden. No stairs. All that was needed for a one night stay including use of bikes.

Having previously stayed in a boutique hotel full of artifacts this place did feel a bit dated and stark however on the plus side that meant it was easier to round up possessions on departure.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and they provided us with all the local information we needed. The guesthouse was very well furnished and decorated, and the facilities were excellent. It was clean and tidy. It is situated in a lovely part of iceland where travel to many great spots is very easy. Fantastic place to stay!
