Clean, well equipped, good localization

Amazing location with beautiful walks on your doorstep. Katrin and her family were very helpful throughout our stay. The cabin was as described, wifi for all devices, great hot tub and friendly dogs to play with the children. An ideal base to explore the South Coast!

Would have been nice to have disney+ or netflix on the TV to watch a film together as we were staying for 5 nights but this is the only improvement I could really think of

Wonderful warm cottage with plenty of space for 3 teenagers. the walk to the crater from the farm was a fantastic break from our travels in the car too!

The cosiest accomodation we have ever been. Really nice furnished. Perfect location to visit the Golden circle. Mosi the dog is so cute, he escorted us to the cottage

amazing and beautiful location, friendly owner, got to see some of their dairy operations which was really cool, hot tub was really nice after a long day of hikes

..No dishwasher but nice old school cottage feeling anyway - we just needed to get back to basics.

Ásólfsskáli Cottage is a wonderful accommodation! The house is perfect, it has everything you need. It is warm and welcoming, we could see and feel that is was build with love. The house is perfect for 6-7 people, maybe even more. It was clean and warm, our bed was comfortable, the bathroom was also nice, kitchen is equipped with everything, there is a toaster, coffee machine, pancake and sandwich maker, pots and glasses, and teapots and so on. We could even find a meat thermometer! There is a great bbq too, we made wonderful grilled lamb and chicken. The hot tub is superb, easy and quick to fill, nice to watch the stars and the aurora from it, even in rough weather! The location of the house is great, at the feet of beautiful mountains, close to a lot of attractions, close to the Ring Road but still at a quiet place. The internet was surprisingly strong, we could easily stream movies. And the bonus is Mosi, the owners dog, so sweet and playful, he came to greet us upon arrival and every morning and evening. Pro tip: bring a ball, Mosi loves balls! :) I absolutely recommend this place, and we too will come back!

Check-in was easy and we went right to our cottage. It was very clean and easy to operate everything inside. The owner then came immediately when we called to help us fill up the hot tub.

The beds were a little uncomfortable compared to what we are used to, but not that bad.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable cottage with a hot tub set in beautiful surroundings. Our family of 4 loved staying here so cosy and we loved meeting Mosi the dog. Make sure you throw his stone for him when he comes to visit you!

What a perfect cottage in a beautiful, perfect area. We loved everything about it. Very clean, comfortable, quiet.

It was clean and had free coffee for the guests. Late checkin and checkout were a big plus!

The matresses were not very comfortable and the rooms were small. The jacuzzi tub was empty, it would have been nice to have it prepared in advance.
