Perfect to bring family together for a seaside break. Fantastic location.

The location of the house just over the road from the beach, and the accessibility of the town, plus the comfort of the house. This is the fourth (or fifth) time we have stayed and it just keeps getting better each time.

Booking.com let down the overall experience. There was a mistake in our booking which I noticed straight away, but could not contact them to change it.

Large and comfortable for a family reunion for people from 20 months to 81 years, plus a dog. Directly across the road from Stone Beach, and close to Viking beach. Easy walk into town for shops, restaurants etc.

Making the booking involved a phone call with Hoseasons, and getting duplicate messages from booking.com and cottages.com, so it was not always clear which entity was actually responsible. The property description (and photos) need some updating. In particular: The picture of an over-bath shower and warning about low banisters and open tread, steep or narrow stairs caused one prospective guest to decide not to come, because of a leg in plaster, which reduced mobility. Nor was there any mention of the ground floor (and therefore accessible) toilet. We were very sad about this. I also had a message in response to a question about availability of a high chair and a cot (now evaporated from the Booking and Cottages websites) which said there was no high chair, no cot, and no room for a travel cot. To our surprise, there were 2 high chairs, a stair gate, and plenty of room for a travel cot in several of the bedrooms.

The house was huge- accommodated us all very well with dogs too. The property was located on the sea front ‘Stone Bay’. would definitely go again with the family.

The house is like home from home it is one of my favourite places x I would love love to live there.

The space and the beach x

Lovely welcome hamper left at the house for us upon arrival. The house is lovely and in a great location.

A toaster in the kitchen would have been useful but overall the house had everything we needed.
