Prima locatie, goed ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, kamer netjes, parkeergarage tegen betaling beschikbaar (wel reserveren!)
Onze TomTom-navigatie leidde ons via de Parijsstraat naar het hotel. Deze straat is echter vanaf de Minderbroedersstraat alleen op bepaalde uren toegankelijk zonder vergunning en dit wordt bewaakt met camera's met risico op een boete. Natuurlijk ben je als chauffeur altijd zelf verantwoordelijk voor de verkeersregels, maar als je als toerist 200 meter van het hotel af bent, is het niet logisch om weer helemaal het centrum uit te rijden om via de rondweg een andere route te zoeken. Hoewel dit bij het hotel bekend is of zou moeten zijn, wordt daar helaas niet voor gewaarschuwd. Dat is jammer, want nu riskeer je als bezoeker onnodig een boete. De medewerkerster heeft wel nog contact opgenomen met de politie om het uit te leggen. En nu maar afwachten of er een boete komt. Tip: rijd via de Sint-Antoniusberg.
Verder was de toeristenbelasting verhoogd van € 1,00 (bij boeking) naar € 3,50 p.p.p.n. (tijdens verblijf). Daar kan het hotel niet zoveel aan doen (want zij krijgen dit ook maar opgelegd van de gemeente), maar het is wel vervelend als je daar bij aankomst pas achter komt.

La chambre est spacieuse, confortable. Pas mal de prise de courant, ce qui est appréciable. Le petit-déjeuner est diversifié. La literie est également confortable. Bien accueilli. La proximité du centre est super.

Das saubere Hotelzimmer war zweckmäßig und strukturiert eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Altstadt, welche fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist. Restaurants sind in der näheren Umgebung vorhanden.

The hotel is situated in a quite place not far from the city centre (about 5-7 min by feet). There is a small park and a UNESCO sightseeng zone nearby. The breakfast was quite good, with a choice of fruit, cheeses, and yogurts. The room was clean. The bathroom equipment is new and in a good technical state. The personnel is friendly and helpful. There is a choice of fast food and restaurants at a distance of 3-10 min walk. I enjoyed my stay.

The room was not pre-heated befor I came and in addition no radiator was in the room. The climatisation was not reversible to heat at the same time. The only source for heating was a tiny heat ventilator. The bathroom could not be heated at all.

On the stairs between 3rd and 4th floor there is a large chunk of stone missing. It is a trip hazard and should be fixed.

The only thing that I can complain about is that the air conditioner did not work well and the room was quite hot all the time ('my stay was in august)

close to city center and the part of the university we needed to walk to, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. i was satisfied with the stay.
the room was stuffy no AC or heat control in rooms. you could open the window which worked. but I wished the room could be cooler at times.
