Very old and quirky quaint which I like. In a superb position next to the cathedral and there is a selection of restaurants just on the other side of it.

Our third time staying at Le Parvis. Location is perfect and the host is really friendly. Beautiful view across the cathedral. Great breakfast with plenty to eat. We’ve stayed in 3 of the rooms and Henry IV is definitely our favourite!

Best location in the city overlooked by the cathedral. Whole town walkable. Great breakfast. Good directions to get to hotel.

Access - not their fault

Enjoyed our stay - great location as right in the centre. Spacious room, comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Owners very helpful. Parking is in nearby public car park (cost included in fee) 2 minute walk away - only hassle was had to remove the bike rack and bike (stored in hotel though) and reload the next day.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar neben der majestätischen Kathedrale. Von unserem Zimmer bot sich ein beindruckender Blick auf deren grandiose Westfassade. In der äußeren Erscheinung präsentiert sich das Hotel nobel und gediegen.

Im Inneren weist das Haus großzügige Räumlichkeiten mit Stilmobiliar und gutem Komfort auf. Da und dort zeigen sich Verschleißerscheinungen und Renovierrungsbedarf. Wenig einladend ist der düstere Frühstücksraum und mäßig appetitlich war auch das Frühstück selbst.

The location was excellent, in the heart of the old town and very close to the Cathedral. The two staff members (possibly the proprietors) we met were friendly and helpful.

It's obviously a traditional old building and has been described as quirky but that should not mean tired and in need of refurbishment, which the bathroom facilities certainly require. The shower stall was so uninviting we avoided it. While I'm aware that price is not a reliable indicator of quality I would not have expected such shabby facilities at this price level. This property compared unfavourably with the other six we stayed in on this trip.

Juste un détail, il n'y avait pas de gel douche, et le fonctionnement de la douche hydro massante qu'il fallait deviner.

The location is the best possible directly across from the Cathedral with views from our window. The hostess was so welcoming and made us a wonderful breakfast both of the mornings we stayed.

This is a historic building, so expect creaky floors, and the bathroom remodel was interesting, but everything worked well.

Comme on est sur le parvis… les cloches sonnent tôt ;-) mais ça fait partie du charme.

Wir kamen von Versailles und konnten uns in dieser Unterkunft wie Könige fühlen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Nur wenige Schritte zur Kathedrale und in die herrliche Altstadt. Auch hier konnten wir uns wohler fühlen als im überlaufenen Versailles.

Dass hier eine städtische Straßenbaustelle war, konnte das Ambiente kaum schmälern.

Tolle Lage, süße Zimmer. Bestes Frühstück. Und vor allem das Personal (Sophia) ist ein Grund wieder zu kommen ☀️

Treppenhaus ist nichts für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Kathedrale. Vom Zimmer konnten wir die Kathedrale direkt vor uns sehen. Das Zimmer war relativ großzügig für einen Altbau und sauber. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war einfach aber ausgiebig.

Wie in Altbauten üblich gibt es eine Rundtreppe mit schmalen Stufen. Zur Zeit wird der Vorplatz rund um die Kathedrale renoviert, deshalb war am Tag Baustellenbetrieb vor dem Hotel.

The location was fantastic, under the shade of the cathedral. It’s a really old, quirky property - floors not straight, fun, historical. And Sophie was really helpful and friendly.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like it, but getting to it is not easy - particularly at the moment with big works going on around the cathedral. And parking was not straightforward. Would stay again.

We had the Henry IV room in this quirky boutique hotel and loved it. It was light bright and airy and I loved the eclectic style of the room. It was beautifully decorated. Sophie who was managing the hotel was delightful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay pleasant and responded immediately when we had problems with finding the place. We would definitely book again next time we come to Chartres,

Pas d’accueil, et en ce moment avec les travaux accéder à l’hôtel est …une véritable galère !!!!

La proximité de l'ultra centre ville, la décoration, les chambres spacieuses et le fait d'avoir un vrai coin salon dans chacune des chambres. La douche balnéo est super agréable et la personne qui nous a accueillit nous a laissé de la documentation d'actualités sur les événements en cours sur la commune. Le petit déjeuner est une vraie surprise également avec beaucoup de produits locaux proposés, qui plus est délicieux.

Le chauffage qui était un peu tiède à notre goût mais on a pu largement compenser avec la couette douillet supplémentaire

Que demander de mieux que d’être aux pieds de cette superbe cathédrale. Chambre d’hôte très agréable avec de très belles chambres calmes et tous confort. Petit déjeuner très copieux et Sophie est charmante. Je vous conseil très fortement cette établissement. Parking offert pas très loin se qui est un plus. Merci
