superb location within a gentle 15 min walk of Chartres Cathedral and old centre. The breakfast was continental with a great choice of croissants ,pain au chocolat , bread etc etc and gorgeous home made jams/ confitures- the nectarin was excellent. parking is safe off street. courtyard seating outside some of the rooms.

Fantastic location. Secure parking. Comfortable, warm and clean accommodation. Nice lounge and breakfast area for guests with access to kettle for late night cuppa! Welcoming, laid-back host. Plenty for breakfast including home made jams.

Nothing major. Parking a bit tight but very happy to have it. Would have preferred the duvet to be in a proper cover. Quite surprised to be woken by a city cockerel!

Breakfast was OK. Lovely bread and a selection of homemade jams but would have liked a croissant or pain au chocolate and some fresh fruit as well. The room was large and spacious and we had our own door in to the garden and a table and chair to sit at.

This property is situated in a good, central location for visiting the beautiful city of Chartres - we particularly enjoyed the illuminations in the evening. The room was cosy and tastefully furnished, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, with excellent fresh bread and homemade jams, as well as fruit, juices and yogurts. Parking was secure in the enclosed, locked courtyard. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom is quite antique and it does not offer a lot of privacy when travelling with a friend, plus for the toilet to flush you have to push a button for a relatively long time. Didn't always work right away.

Everything was excellent: the owner´s warm welcome, room, house .... The room is very spacious. Great living room with the possibility of coffee and tea. Very quiet part of the town.

The only (little) imperfection: it would be good to install the bathroom´s door - not everybody want to hear everything ...
