my room location beside the entrance courtyard. my room door opened into the courtyard. noisy. no curtain for window in the door so room bright from dawn.

My wife and I stayed at the Galatia Villas from the 6th June till the 9th, but then due to another hotel being cancelled at the last minute, decided to stay for the remaining 4 nights based on the absolutely excellent owners, staff and accommodation that was on offer. A hidden gem, so friendly, the father and son who own the apartments were so helpful with everything, from an excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms, which included private balcony jacuzzi to letting us know where everything was on the island. Their hospitality was fantastic, and it was excellent value for money, room 11 was superb, with everything we needed. We would like to thank the owners for such a lovely stay, on a beautiful island, on which our lovely daughter got married! I would highly recommend the Galatia Villas to anyone, don't look around Santorini for hotels, just book this one! Excellent! 11/10

Great location and base to explore Santorini, really good value, friendly helpful staff, nice but small pool area with just a couple of loungers, but overall we were really happy to stay here.

Entrance in and out was a steep incline, not great for people with walking difficulties, but this is general for all of Fira.

great location, nice walk to centre of town. staff were very kind and helpful. pool was beautiful - a little cold though.

the shower in our room was very small and consequently flooded the bathroom a bit. the small kitchen could’ve been cleaner, we found ants all over the plates.

We had a beautiful stay and enjoyed our time during our short stay :)

Loved the staff, very helpful and kind. We booked a volcano day tour through them. Highly recommend booking your transfer from the port with the hotel (30 euros for private transfer vs 40 euros for bus shuttle for 2 ppl). Comfortable beds and loved the jacuzzi area next to our room, since the pool was full of shade in the afternoon. 10-15min walk from the heart of Fira.

Door was hard to lock and open. Wifi was okay. Small room, but highly functionnal and reasonable for the price. Shower curtain could have been longer to avoid having the whole bathroom wet.

We loved our stay at Galatia Villas! All the staff were so lovely, the villa was gorgeous, clean, facilities were great, location was perfect for us 5-10 minute walk into main Fira town (please note that it is on a very steep hill which may be a problem for some but wasn’t for us)

only downside of this property is the bathroom, bathrooms are very small and ours had a shower which made the bathroom more of a wet room. Water from the shower would fill the bathroom floor with water if shower was left on for more than a couple minutes which can be annoying. The toilet would also run water continuously which was annoying during the night as the bathroom door didn’t close properly and would be noisy.
