location and architecture.
a few items were not working properly , safety box , room telephone , and window did not close securely. everything else was fine .

The Hotel Hacienda Mérida VIP is one of 3 connected properties. The staff couldn’t have been better in making our stay enjoyable. We drove to Celestun and Sisal and still had time to enjoy exploring Mérida.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, better than in the pictures. Our room was huge and so were the bathroom and the walk-in closet; also very clean. The pool is big and since there are only five rooms in the hotel one can pretty much have it all to themselves. If not, there are two more pools at the other adjacent hotel (same owner). The owner, Philippe, is very nice and has good recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast was very good with various choices, served by professional Franco (sorry, not sure of spelling).

Everything. The staff was super friendly and helpsome. The room was beautiful, spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The pool nice, clean and private. The location is perfect and even though the hotel is placed in the center of Merida, you felt far away from all the hassle the moment you entered.

Everything was A++++!!!! We had the pool entirely to ourselves. Breakfast was perfect, service was so friendly and professional.
Parking was a little complicated but staff was very accommodating!

The hotel is beautiful and peaceful yet it's strategically located near everything you'll need to enjoy your stay in beautiful Mérida.
The Staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous, they provided information about the area, things to do and places to be.
The room overviewed the pool and was very well ventilated with both a ceiling fan and AC Unit.
The pool was very refreshing!
It would've been great to have a mini fridge in the room to store the water bottles provided.

Super cool place at excellent location! The staff were super sweet and helpful. I really loved the room, which was very cool with the highest ceiling I’ve ever slept or showered under. And the hotel is situated at a calm, yet very central location.
If I had to pinpoint something, it would be that the breakfast could be a bit better, and that the shower is either super hot, or ice cold.

the hotel was quiet and beautiful. Peace and quiet felt immediately after walking in. Service was excellent and we had a private balcony overlooking the pool.

The property is beautiful and extremely well kept. Walking in from the chaos of the Merida streets to this respite was one of the highlights of our trip. On top of that, the staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They are all delightful.

The location of Hotel Merida VIP was superb. It's on a quiet street just a few blocks from one of the main plazas in Merida. The hotel is pretty with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and lovely toiletries. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel comfortable after a long day of travel. The breakfast was substantial and delicious and the wait staff was very friendly.
There is nothing that stood out that I'd mention here.

Nice hotel very close to Sta Lucia square- very convenient. Our room was quite large and pleasant, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast, though not included, was quite nice. The hotel is in two parts-- with another building not part of the hotel between it. You can use the other side of the hotel if you are in the VIP. Very cute bar with friendly staff in the other section. Front desk people were extremely nice and helpful
Skylight leaked in our bedroom closet during the rain and needs to be fixed.
