Everything about the hotel (except what I mentioned in the section I wrote that I didn't like) was this is a good place. ALL the staff was very friendly and helpful people, the place was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, good value, good location, the breakfast was warm and filling.

The ad for the hotel on Booking.com states that there is an Airport Shuttle. This was the main reason why we chose this hotel. In fact, there is NO airport shuttle. If you need to go to the airport, they will call a taxi for you. Now, if you are unfamiliar with the taxis that go to the airport, you need to understand they are known as the Taxi Mafia. They charge $250 pesos to go a few miles. This is roughly $25 US. This is pure greed and let's screw over the tourists. To put this in context, I paid 250 pesos for a local taxi (not an airport taxi) to pick me up at the Guatemala/Mexico border and take me to Tapachula....a LOT further distance. The taxi that took us to the airport, I seriously thought that that car should have been retired to the junkyard a couple of years ago. The interior was waaaay past needing cleaning and every bump in the road, my wife and I felt it. Not to mention the driver seemed to be in a real serious hurry to get us to the airport, weaving in and out of traffic, coupled with fast acceleration and hard braking, it wasn't a pleasant ride in any way. Now, I don't blame the hotel for any of this but the ad (as I mentioned above) shows an airport shuttle. My experience with the taxi ride did not affect my ranking of the hotel. They did a great job. I just wanted to let people know what to expect. The other thing is there is no elevator. If you have any luggage at all, you're going to be carrying it up (and down) the stairs. NOTE TO HOTEL: PLEASE...get an airport shuttle so your customers don't have to put up with the Taxi Mafia.

Was a pretty good place to stay I highly recommended.. my family and i was so happy! 😀
